Hahahaha! I'd love to see their faces. Or I'd sneak a Baby Ruth candy bar in the water (a al Caddyshack) and then point to it & loudly ask why they are tubbing with poo in the water.:p
The spots idea came from a little boy who was covered in spots and kept scratching his self one year in Spain. His mum put this cream on him then told him to play in the kiddie pool. There was about 6 or 7 kids in the pool, but not for long.I don't think the kid had measles,it looked like a heat rash, but no one was taking a chance.:(

We really only experienced this one time at Fort Wilderness about half way through our stay when a group moved into the 100 loop who were obviously "tail gate people" verses "camping people" They were horribly loud and drunk. We could hear them and their outside tv seven or eight sites away. After the second night of their shenanigans CM came by and reminded the of quiet hours. I did get a laugh at them the next day at the M K when it was hot as blue blazes and they were clearly hung over and wearing nylon football jerseys that were black with gold trim. I know I probably should have not openly laughed at them but I was over tired from their partying.
I mean I dunno if he was drunk but we had a neighbor at Coronado that apparently liked yelling at his family at 1 am in the morning numerous times (I could only imagine it's alcohol due to the consistency)...needless to say after the second time we quickly remedied the situation....

Never had a bad experience at any of the resorts: deluxe, mod, or value. It is louder at the value resorts, but even at the POLY people coming in from late night EMH can be heard w/ doors slamming and such. Really no big deal. Never had a dirty room. It's always in tip-top shape in terms of cleanliness. The guests can get a bit "messy" though.;)

I have stayed at WDW resorts probably 40 times in the past decade....I have had ONE single bad experience, and that was a big teenage south american tour group at Riverside...the screaming, shouting, banging, clanging, and partying started about 8 pm and went on until the wee hours of the morning. They appeared to be unescorted, and at one point party central, the room next to mine, had (no kidding) more than 30 kids in there. I called security three times, and after the third, I called the front desk and they arranged a new room for me in building 85. Zero problems from that point on. I have to say that out of 40 trips, 1 night of rowdiness isn't bad, considering you go to a college football game and stay at the team hotel and the party runs 24/7 with just as much noise. I would bet though, that the adults in that tour group got an earful from Disney the next day.

The whole UNSUPERVISED large groups of teens thing at any resort at WDW should be grounds for that group to be kicked out of WDW. Walt surely didn't envision the scenarios like RonAnnArbor's as his dream (or mine with the 2 groups of unsupervised teens).

Do you know how much money they'd lose if 75% of Port Orleans had to leave?

Back in Sept 09 we stayed at PORS for the first time. I had stayed at it decades before when it was Dixie landing but didn't remember much. There were some things that we didn't care for but weren't deal breakers -- the layout and the food court. There was one thing that was a deal breaker and that was the bus service. In four days at the resort there was not one time where we were able to get on the first bus that showed up. They were always so busy that only a few people were able to get on at a time. The straw that broke the camel's back was a morning where after waiting for nearly an hour and still not being able to get on a bus to the MK we had to take a cab to catch our breakfast reservation. This was during value season so it's not as if it was overly crowded. After that trip we determined never again and we'd stick to deluxes, or when necessary values (actually Pop only and soon AoA).

Nt my experience. But have talked to multiple guests here who absolutely hate Art of Animation. The most major complaint I've heard is that the eco air conditioners are terrible. They are motion sensitive and turn off during the day making for an incredibly hot room to come back to. And then they'll turn off at night for the same reason. Also been told the food court is not very clean and every surface just seemed sticky. Very crowded with very long lines. And apparently cell phone service is also awful. The thin walls are a problem as well.

Again not my experience. But it's what I've heard from multiple guests. If it had been one I would have chalked it up to someone just having a bad experience. But probably heard it from at least five who all said the same thing so found it surprising. *shrug*
think similar comments were levied at pop about the ac. Never experienced it myself.

stayed at all star sports right after hurricane katrina. I guess disney was letting people that were displaced stay there for free. they would party on the balacony at all hours of the night. drinking and letting their kids run around and scream. it was awful we got a half refund from management after several complaints.

Experiences with misbehaving guests?

Yes, back when I stayed at the Grand Floridian, there was this huge party of like twenty terribly misbehaving people. Burping in Victoria&Alberts, farting contest in the pool, running naked back and forth from the pool to the hotel room. It lasted for days and days.

Then managemant had finally had enough and they kicked us out.

Back in 92, when I was 17, my folks took my best friend and I to WDW and we stayed at the GF. It had only been open for a couple of years then and was an amazing place. We met a nfl football payer, say two beautiful female college students strip down to their undies an go swimming after midnight, and met some other really pretty girls inthe hot tub. That was about as wild as I've ever seen at disney, and it was awesome :)

The sad part was that prior to the invasion of the cheerios/band kids, it was a serene & lovely resort filled with mainly families enjoying a great stay.
I've stayed at the Riverside as well...I don't know if they put groups there but it was much quieter and almost desolate compared to FQ (and we go during peak season)...but it doesn't have the charm FQ has; it's too bad for those darn Brazilian tour groups...
