Germany any good?

Germany is the only country in WS we haven't eaten in. I would appreciate some feedback. We are thinking of doing a lunch there.

I enjoy it because I always try to get my wife to dance. My wife enjoys it because I get her to dance. We both find the food good. My 19 year old loves it for the food and the band, my 15 year old thinks it's just okay for the food but enjoys the band.

If you decide to go, try to schedule your ADR so you can enjoy the whole performance of the band (if you like german/alpine music).

The biergarten is the best. We have always eaten dinner there. The food is great and the show is fun. Do they have the show at lunch?

Being partial to Becks and Corn I always try and pay a visit even if its only counter service.

The food is plain hearty German fayre. wurst, pork and chicken is the basis, though I wish they would have a change now and then and have some of the dishes that i was used to in the north of Germany.

This is our absolute favorite!!! We always end up at Biergarten when we go to Epcot, well almost always. They only have the show for dinner, which starts seating at 4pm, and usually the last show is around 8:30ish. The food is out of this world, and I'm a sucker for spaetzle! As for beer, never order the half litre: it's only a $2 difference for the litre!!!! Yummmmm...... Biergarten....

We loved it - I'm not much on sausage but there more than enough other choices that you definitely won't walk away hungry. And the entertainment was a blast. I really liked seeing all the little kids dancing. Gives them a chance to blow off a little steam!!

We had a blast teh last time we were there. The entertainment was great. The best part was when a family from Germany was sitting in the front row and they knew all the little things(oi! oi! oi!). We had a fun time.

mm the biergarten. last feb. we were going to go to the ts in italy, but there was like a 1 hour wait and we were starved. so we ran over to germany, and got seated right away, and the food was wonderful!! its all you can eat, i could barely move after eating there. if youre going to eat there, and drink, dont order a heavy dark beer, youll fill up way too quickly

That's a great tip. Something I probably wouldn't have thought of.

yeah. order that after dinner the food is just too good to fill up on beer. besides, gotta save room for some sake, a margarita, some baileys....lol :lol:
actually, that really isnt a good idea, we went down last february and tried to sample something from every country, but we didnt make it past the rose&crown...then we got a cab home. :hurl:
