Hey there all, A General public discount offer has been released for the dates listed. This offer must be booked by 9/24/2008. Codes are as follows:

Year to year, discount windows, amounts, number of rooms etc do change so I wouldnt be willing to swear for it. Also as you see some people are running into difficulties based on the dates/ resort/ both selected. My advice is to only book a trip without a discount if you are planning on going anyway. If you are waiting and looking for a good deal, that is fine as well but then Id wait and see what deals are being offered, when they are and what resorts I can get and make my decision then. Belle

I received an email from my Disney Travel person this morning stating that a Disney discount was coming out today. We were able to "upgrade" our reservations for November from POR to AKL for the same price! :sohappy: So happy! :sohappy:

I called and they were able to apply Discount Code DGL to our December reservation.
It saved us over 21% off the total just for callling.

Dumb question...
Do you have to get a room or can you just get park tix and myw + dining, for the discount? we have DVC points we are using for the room.

OK this is what you do. Call the person you booked your trip with. If it was Disney call them. If it was an Agent call them. Ask if your package would be eligible for a discounted rate using the codes I listed ( pick the correct one for the plan you purchased to begin with. If your resort is available they will "exchange" your full price package for a discounted one. If not, Id do as others here have done and see if a higher level resort would be available at at lesser discount or paying a nominal amount for more resort. Belle

No the packages MUST include a resort room. Paying for a room via DVC points is not considered a MYW Package. However if you want to purchase a MYW Package and instead of booking a regular resort, you wish to book a DVC property, that you can do, based on availability. Again this must be paid for in money, NOT DVC points. Belle

Thanks did it and upgraded. Would have saved $400.00 plus but had to stay at ASM so changed to CS and still saved $42.30. Thanks Again!:sohappy:

Coronado Springs is a pretty amazing resort, I think you will LOVE it!!!! In exchange for my information, please make sure to take lots of pictures of you having a wonderful time at Disney and post a few for us to see!!! Belle

DH just called and we're saving $580!!

Belle, thanks so much for posting this info. This is our first time staying on property and now this price makes it even more amazing :sohappy: I have never been so excited about a vacation before!!
