They do need to replace a lot of the blasters on Buzz, though. So many are inaccurate or the targets don't pick up the signal at all. I was recently direct-hitting my usual targets (as in, in the middle of the Z) and ended up scoring 25k points total.

Kids and adults who have nether experienced any other version of the ride love it.

I would prefer to upgrade it to the Shanghai version, or at least the DL version…but honestly I just hope Disney starts building new rides before replacing existing rides that generally function fine.

We have Toy Story Mania, which is a better version of it. I'd rather we have a united Tomorrowland with a different ride people will also love.

Like many things at WDW, I'd just be happy if it was better maintained. It's the dirtiest, most beat-up looking ride on property.

Little things like that is what I like about Disney Parks. Perfect way to give certain locations more life that guests wouldn't notice until looking at certain areas.

This is the kind of plussing that Walt loved and YES, these are the little improvements that make the parks so much better!

I have to wonder what prompts changes like this? It is a welcome addition, but seems so random. Does imagineering have a budget for random improvements like this?

From the video, it sounded like a R&D project, testing it to add something a larger scale for another project. Of all the large-scale projects announced, the only thing I can think of is Casita for the Encanto attraction coming to life, so we might see this technology (the family members passing the windows, the candle going out etc.)?

Maybe the monsters Inc land too? Could be fun to see all the different shaped monster silhouettes

Not that everything should be catered to little kids. I just say that since they bring the story up in the video.

According to another thread, it's part of their grand design to do away with Liberty Square and anything Colonial or Americana.
