What's the dream car you're getting? I'm hoping to get a new Scion tC really soon, unless I choose the Chrysler 300...hmmm, choices!

I'm shooting towards the CTS, but a MINI Cooper Convertible is not out of the question.

Chrysler 300's aren't bad at all....I like the look. A good friend of mine is looking into getting one soon. As for Scions....the tC is pretty cool, the xA is OK, but I despise the xB. So ugly, I say....I can't believe my brother wants one.

You mean the new Hyundai Tuscon (love the fact that they changed the name but it still looks the same).

I agree, the xA and xB aren't their best cars, but the tC deffinitely is. It's got the looks and everything else of a luxory car for an excellent price, same goes with the 300. I have actually been wanting a Bentley/RR and when I found the 300, it's perfect. Looks just like it, minus a couple things, but for a couple hundred thousand dollars less. I was actually about to get a MINI Cooper a couple years ago and found out about the conv. in 2001 (before anyone knew about it :zipit: ) but decided it wouldn't work with me moving to FL and needing some storage in a car to drive back and forth for school.

Have you looked at the CTS-V at all? It's a lot more power but only comes in manual if I'm not mistaken. (Since you're looking at the MINI Cooper S which is only manual, you'd enjoy the CTS-V a lot). You've got two excellent choices, now just which one?!? :lol: Let us know when you decide, and I want to see pictures too!

I thought the EXACT same thing about the 300. Take off the Chrysler logo and you'd never know it was one. :lol:

It is such a hard decision! I've been reading about the CTS-V but I don't think it's worth the extra money AND I need Automatic (why I said Cooper S, I will never know). Besides, if I go for the CTS I will probably go for a Certified Pre-Owned, I mean this is my parents paying, I think I should make it a bit more easy on them. :lol: However, I if I do decide the MINI then I will buy new. My mind is ALWAYS changing though....last month I was looking towards just the CTS, then a month before that it was the Escalade, then before that it was a Nissan Armada....I won't really know until the car is sitting in front of me. :lol:

Hyundai stopped making the Sante Fe (in a way) but still have the same car. It looks exactly the same as the Sante Fe but it's not called the Hyundai Tuscon. I've seen commercials on all the time for it and I don't know why they did it.

While just looking at their site, they still have the Sante Fe listed, so maybe this is just a large version of the Sante Fe, not quite sure. Although, when you click on the Sante Fe it only says 2004 while on the Tuscon it says 2005. I'm assuming they just renamed it.

Yeah I saw that, which kind of sucks for me but i really dont care. Im just glad they stopped making the car i had a really nasty accident in when my backside was crushed by a driver with me at a red light!

Ummmm duh already knew that .......... the thing is both the rave and CRV have their spare tires on the back of the car which is not good, throws the car off balance and is able to roll it over.

The Santa Fe is going to stay the same. All it has now is a new name. It is not going to get bigger due to the fact that it is built on a car chasey. If they were it would not even be called a Santa Fe in respects. Just how Ford has gone with the explorer up to the expidition, excursion and so forth.

I think that is what it is here in Mexico. I filled up today and it was almost $30 when I convert the pesos into dollars. I too nearly pooped myself when I looked at the total. Thank goodness it is a small town and I don't drive much except back and forth to work.

That is what I was saying in my last post. That its not going to be called the Santa Fe or the Tuscon. Its going to be called something else. But is this SUV they are building going to be built on a car frame, like the Santa Fe, or built on a truck frame, which then you dont get that smooth of a ride.
