Garden Grill Not Rotating

I don't agree that the restaurant not rotating should allow people to cancel their ADRs without penalty. As we all know, nothing is guaranteed by Disney to be operational. But do people really go mainly because the restaurant turns? I would think the characters and the food would all be much more important. It is not as if it turns that quickly, you can barely notice it.

Only dummies like me. We booked it several years ago, not realizing it was a family-style character meal, simply because it rotated and overlooked Living with the Land. My goal at the time was to dine at every restaurant with a view into a ride. When we realized it was family style and that there were characters after checking in, we asked that our name be taken off the list. Had we made that mistake this year, we would just sacrifice the cancellation fee. Not our scene at all.

We are going in June as well and have ADR at GG. It would definitely be a bummer if its not rotating! It's not why we picked this restaurant but we are excited by that feature and it will be a few years before we go to Disney again.

As of today (June 2) there are plant "walls" in front of most of the restaurant (I'm guessing to give privacy to the diners at the tables in the entrance area). This tells me it's likely to be awhile before the restaurant rotates again.

I would choose not to eat there if it were not rotating. The food was great and my kids LOVED meeting chip and dale, but there are plenty of other nice places too. Half the fun was the novelty of a rotating restaurant.

I am hoping that it will be rotating when we are there later this month. If not, no big deal, I have eaten there many times when i was not.

However this will be a first time for my wife and step-daughter, so it would be nice if it was working. (Though my wife gets motion sickness, so she is kind of happy about the whole thing)
