Well, I Wouldn't Say 'All'.. There Is Only That One Poll Topic.. But I Do Agree, GameCube Is Hiding In The Corner.. It's Overlooked By XBOX And PS2, Why Not Have GC Talked In?

Anyway, Topic Starter (since this topic is already bland), Ever Tried 'Donkey Konga'? If You Have A Game Cube, Try It Out.. I Find It Fun And Worth Playing Again And Again.. For A While.. Well, It Has Some Replay Value w/ It's Little Points System In It And Unlocking Sounds/New Levels, Mini Games.. But After A While, It's Just A Drum, And It's Limited To That.. I Mean, Compared To PS2's Eye Toy, Which Has Many Types Of Games You Can Play With It, It's Not Much.. Sure, Dance Dance Revolution Has Been Popular For Some Time w/ Many Songs To Play To.. But That's It, DK Doesn't Have Much Songs To Play w/ As Much As DDR.. And It Seems That There Won't Really Be More DK Games To Play On After The Next Game (not music, but a story-based adventure game..) Which Seems Preatty Strange Having To Play A Whole Adventure Game On A Drum..

Now, PS2 Has It's Own Little Drum, But Don't Know Much And Never Really Tried It To Compare.. But Still, Donkey Konga Is Still Fun..

I thing I'm going to buy Donky Konga for Chrismas.

Nintendo is sitting on a gold mine that it's not even using. They should release a compilation of old classid nintendo games. I only got my gamecube because it came with the Zelda collection, featuring the original Zelda for nintendo.

They could make a good chunk of money if they would release the classic games on gamecube.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is coming out... it is a platform game that uses the Conga's as a controller. (Clap = Jump for example)

Bonus Discs for Jungle Beat are also coming out, with more songs on...

I got my Gamecube for free (I actually won it in a school raffle).

The only reason I play it is because the majority of Sonic the Hedgehog games are on the system. Sonic has been my favorite videogame since I was younger.

I have a GameCube....don't play it much though. Only bought it for the Universal Studios Theme Park Adventure game and all of the WWE games that are released for it (which are MUCH better than the RAW series on XBOX).

Universal Studios sucks big-time...

I have:
Super Mario Sunshine, Doshin The Giant, Metroid Prime, Super Monkey Ball, Tony Hawks 4, Wario Ware GC, Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Party 4, Rouge Squadren, Rogue Leader, Timesplitters 2, Burnout 2, Luigi's Mansion, Eternal Darkness, Viewtiful Joe, F-Zero GX, Zelda: Wind Waker, Starfox Adventures, Animal Crossing.

I like my quirky Japanese games :)

Starfox Adventures is basically an easier Zelda with Fox. There are only a few flying sections that last a minute or so. It was the last game Rare made for Nintendo (having been delayed for years... it was originally an N64 title called Dinosaur Planet.) It looks gorgeous, but is too easy and not very deep.

The true sucessor to Starfox 64 is Starfox Assault... being developed by Namco as we speak... http://cube.ign.com/objects/481/481615.html?ui=gamefinder

I love "fun" "no-thought needed" games. (Which is why I miss the 2d scrolling Mario's, Sonic's, DK's) and "Shoot-em-ups" where you'll have a bird's eye view and you're shooting god-knows what...but there are HUNDREDS of things you have to avoid...but you can keep getting gun power-ups and by the time you're "loaded" one blast sends a spray of bullets over the entire screen...but one little stray bullet would always hit you

(I love Mario Golf and Mario Tennis though!)

You should try Ikaruga for the top-down shooting game :)

See they are making a brand-new side-scolling Mario game for the DS?

It was originally Dreamcast, but it was ported to the GameCube.

IGN gave it 8.3 out of 10 (which is quite good for them)

Call me an old-school gamer, a shooter freak, or what have you, but I will buy Ikaruga. It's just that good. Sure, it's a bit on the short side, but Ikaruga is a fantastic example of clever game design. Slap on some beautifully modeled visuals, a fitting soundtrack, and fantastic effects, and we have a winner.

Without a doubt, this is a better game than Radiant Silvergun. For one, Ikaruga takes itself far more seriously with no "The Price is Right" music or campy anime characters spoiling the otherwise fast-paced action. I feel more like the Last Starfighter when I play Ikaruga.

I do have to mention that Ikaruga is a shooter and it's a shooter-fan's shooter. If you don't like intense, mind-numbing shooting action, then you're going to hate Ikaruga. However, if you grew up on heavy doses of Ikari Warriors and Graduis, then you'll probably feel right at home with this one-of-a-kind blast-a-thon. Five more stages would have been nice, but that's nothing a sequel can't cure.
