Yes. DH has VIP tickets again for Waterfire, so since she was coming down for a friend's shower, she's going to go there with him while I'm away.
I *heart* Waterfire.
I've been twice. Or was it three times?
Definitley twice, but possibly three.
And I LOVE it.
That's nice!
George has been wanting to go to Six Flags. (He likes coasters almost as much as a certain young Canadian we all know and love) He knows that's not my thing, so I suggested he ask the girls to go just with him. They don't do that sort of thing as often as they should. . .
Which Six Flags?

Dave & the kids & my brother's family are planning a trip to Cedar Point in August. I'm looking forward to not going!

I hear ya.
George's lodge sponsors a yearly trip to Dorney Park in PA.
We haven't gone in a couple of years, and I'm so glad. It was always such a long day for me. George and the girls enjoyed it though.

Thank you!

No, we didn't get to.
One time was the night of my brother's wedding, so weren't about to try to get into them in tuxes and gowns!
And the other time, well, my dad is just boring.
We had never done it before, but last month Dave got VIP tickets, so part of that was a free boatride (as well as free drinks and food). It was awesome, and a perfect night - just cool enough that you felt the warth of the fires.

Oh right. . .Jackson.
I Googled it and got Jacksonville. :hammer:
Do you go there?
It's okay.
We used to get season passes and go pretty often when I was little.
Mainly for Bugs Bunny Land. :lookaroun
I've never been a 'coaster person', so once I outgrew the little rides and got bored of seeing the same shows year after year, we stopped getting the passes.
Haven't been in several years now.

Saturday will be here soon!
So. . .
Do you think you're gonna like working at your new place, or is it too soon to tell?

I dunno. Everyone is nice. It seems like I'll be learning a lot. The culture is sooooo different from where I was though. It's gonna take some getting used to.
