That's good.
DH went back to work. . .did I read that somewhere?
If so, that's a relief, I'm sure!

He went back yesterday. Now when I need him to watch the girls while I go to the dentist he has to be at work. My neighbors all work so I can't leave the girls with anyone right now. They will have to go with me and stay in the waiting area.

I'm sure they'll be fine.
They're not little girls anymore.
Just let them know you're counting on them to be extra good.

Everyone. . .
I just heard from Kat who asked me to inform you that her dad was taken to the ER with severe abdominal pains this morning. She's waiting to hear from her mom, and asks that we pray for him.
Also, she thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and hopes to be able to enjoy her thread when things settle down.
Thanks guys!

Yay! I finally caught up!

I don't even think I can take a step in them without falling face first.:lookaroun

Same here.

mmm...lunch. Subway. :slurp:

My favorite!

Ok, so I think we should all trade locations for a year so we can understand each other's climates better.

I pick Vince's! :king:

Um, no. I don't think so.

and the tomatoes are almost ready!

There's nothing like fresh veggies from the garden!

I totally agree!

I just found this website
http://www.simpsonizeme.com/index.php

You can upload a picture of yourself and see what you would look like as a Simpson!

I am going to check that out later.

2 rooms at a value is still cheaper than a deluxe though isn't it?

Yes it is.

I know but You know how dreams are. I might have to settle for something differant but I am hoping. Another thought is I don't want to depend on the busses,. I am not a bus person. I can be if I need to be. I am being picky. Bob even says so.:zipit:

The buses are not that bad actually. I use them all the time even on the CP.

Oh...I definitely don't think the busses are bad. And with the new music piping in, I'd expect them to be a bit better now too.

They are.

Of course :) Just request...at the very least they can give you rooms next to each other.

The busses are great. Sure some waiting is to be had at some point, but you're at WDW!!! Unless you have the means for it, I would save the money from a deluxe and use it on an extra meal or souvenir. We've been going to WDW many many times and always stay at a value (or moderate if need be) and we love it :D especially since we use the hotel to eat, sleep, and shower

Same here.

Or the other possibility is to stay at the values or mods for most of your stay, then treat yourself to a Deluxe on your last night.

That's a good idea.

Which ones are the best in the moderate? I am thinking Carribean.

I LOVE Port Orleans. My family stays there all the time. Mostly at Riverside.

Thanks for letting us know, Dot. Prayers are definitely sent their way! I've had more than enough experience with my own parents and their health issues.

Hi everyone! Just checking in. Thanks so much for the b-day thread! :sohappy: It's really cheering me up today!

As Dot mentioned, my dad had to go to the emergency room this morning. It doesn't seem too serious, but they will have to admit him and keep him for at least two days. My parents were planning on driving back to Chicago to finish packing up their things and close on their house. My mom's a bit stressed - so please keep both of them in your prayers. Hopefully we'll sort things out so that we can do everything that needs to be done up there but still take care of my dad.

My dad is such a trooper... As if losing a kidney, galblatter and one third of his liver (due to cancer) in the past two years wasn't enough...

Thanks everyone! Your thoughts and well-wishes (AND BIRTHDAY WISHES) are definitely helping!
