As I sit writing this my 4 year old daughter is watching videos on her Nabi of Frozen.
With the DVD release coming in the middle of March, although I can pre-order a digital copy on my Vudu account now to start watching by the end of the month. Frozen is just going to make more cold hard cash.

Even with the popularity I still want rides added not replaced or overlays when possible. So give me rides, unique merchandise and.......

It would need to generate about 85-125 million, is the sing along doing good?

Yes, Box Office Mojo has recently started forecasting it to pass 1 billion worldwide. There are still some big markets (Japan and China) that it has yet to even open in, and can approach 100 million extra between those two alone.

Now, if it somehow managed to pass Toy Story 3's 1.063 billion, that would really be something.

If it makes it into the billion dollar club alone that would be seriously something huge, it would be the first original animated film to do so, it would beat lion kings record, its already the highest grossing princess film of all time. But for this thing to hit a billion would be insane.

Haha I'm 34 and wanted that Sven reindeer plush. They were gone at Christmas time and never came back, should have bought one over Thanksgiving, live and learn I guess. Get it when you see it.

We kept putting it off, not sure if we wanted the Sven plush. When we finally decided that we did, we missed the last one at the Disney Store as we got there. Someone picked it up as I was walking to the wall where it was. Of course now were kicking ourselves for not getting it sooner.

Thank goodness some Frozen fans arrived on this board... a couple of grumpy people can make it look like everyone finds this film barely tolerable. We went to the singalong over the weekend, and were surrounded by singing adults and kids - it was awesome. Exiting the theatre we heard adults and college age people talking about how they had seen it 4, 5, 7 times.

My daughter wants that Elsa dress... it is nowhere to be found. Congrats to the person above for snagging it!

I have found this board to be a poor cross section of the general zeitgeist.

Pre order on disneystore.com to get free litihographs. My family is definitely going this route. My four year old DD know all the words to let it go and Build a snowman. We are going to sing along this weekend

I ADORE Frozen. I start the morning with the soundtrack and coffee in my Elsa mug. I belt those songs! I just want Epcot to keep being Epcot and not Magic Kingdom. I want a Frozen ride, just not in the wrong place in my beloved Norway.

I was only referring to the negativity about the movie. I also have mixed feelings about this rumor. I wouldn't mind it being there - Epcot dearly needs new things. But why not add and not replace? I mean, this map from yesterland shows an empty site next door.

This. Yep, I can agree with this.

Even if a Frozen attraction would seem a better fit for MK, Epcot sorely needs a new attraction and I think they should take advantage of the situation...

Because it's not like Frozen's the only popular Norse-based property Disney owns right now.

Of course, he can't be used directly, but you can always push the Norse mythology angle of the pavilion further. Remember, the narrator of Maelstrom is Odin.
