FYI .....Had 2:35 FP today. No line for FP outside the building. Boarded the boat in less than ten minutes. The standby line was only lining up along the center planter outside the big troll statute store. Standby wait was 70 minutes. M&G was a 15 minute wait. No crazy crowds and calm day.
Yeah, when we left property about 3 MDE had it ar 90 minutes. I had a friend who had a 7:00 fp but it broke down while they were in line. They ended up leaving after half an hour.

Waited max about 10 minutes. Cute ride. Definitely better than Mermaid. Something I noticed more in person is that a lot of it is painted flats where on video it didn't look that way. It's easy to tell most of the budget went to the great AAs. Like what's been said before WDI did the best they could with what they were given. I can't wait to see how TDS & DL's ride turns out.

Time for my Soarin' FP.

How did it only take 30 minutes to get from Mexico to the ride exit? For a ride with horrendous capacity that is one of the only attractions in this park that appeals to small children, which is the primary audience for the resort in general, that is impressive.

And there's no way you got a FastPass.

Aaron Wallace waited in line for six hours this week for a 5-minute ride, the brand-new Frozen Ever After at Epcot. It was worth it, he said.
"Honestly, it flew by," Wallace said.

"I arrived at the park with no real commitment to spending six hours in line," said Wallace, who lives in Orlando and is a Walt Disney World annual passholder. "But we showed up and the weather was fairly pleasant early on and we made some fast friends in line."

"It was a pretty even mix of bloggers and tourists, but the prevailing sentiment was one of fandom and genuine excitement," Wallace said. "That's part of what makes these kind of debut-day activities such fun."
Imagine what else you can do and see in six hours?

Guys? I have to wonder how this turned into a ticket debate.
-It is now used differently than the original way
-It measures scale today
-Disney uses it slightly differently than the public
-It does not measure opinion
How does that turn into a debate???!!!
Please just go back to talking about Frozen Ever After or the future of Epcot or whatever.

As for the ticket debate people really need to; "Let go...," "Let it goooo...."

No
I'm not sure why his ride is compared to Frozen. Mermaid is a slow moving ride, like Haunted Mansion and this ride is basically much quicker.

I guess the styles are the same? My girls love the Little Mermaid ride.

Princess rides should be contained in the castle parks. Princesses are an invasive species with no natural predators outside the castle parks. Look what happened in WS. Years ago, they planted one little princess seed in the restaurant in Norway. Now look at what it has grown into. It's like Audrey from Little Shop of Horrors.

Amazed how many frozen breakdown videos there are on youtube. I guess it is happening quite frequently.

this one is pretty cool

I guess they were too focused on getting people off the ride to stop them from recording

We broke down in the same area on Maelstrom many years ago. Our group too went down the fire escape stairs on the backside of the pavilion. However, our group did not go back into the building on the ground floor. While still on the exterior of the building we were escorted to the north side of the building (the side that faces the Mexico pavilion) and the CM opened one of the tall double gates to get us back to the WS.

I noticed that they now have hardware cloth (i.e. chicken wire) on the fire escape stair railings. One of my daughters dropped a Mickey plush through the open railing during our breakdown exit. Thanks for posting the video!

Technically Elsa is a queen :)

I know what you're saying but we could do this all day about how certain rides in one park belong in another

....and yes I agree it doesn't belong in Epcot but the MK didn't need more crowds either- it's a problem they've created themselves.
