Disney Auditions just went up in the past day or so for the Frozen Sing-Along for all roles and they are being held on August 28. Hard to believe they'd have auditions on August 28 for something ending September 28, so this likely seems like further fuel to the rumor that the show will stick around.

My guess? Oaken's outpost, fireworks and the ice skating goes away then the sing along moves to the vacated American Idol theatre.
The sing a long is here to stay I think.

Sooo, here's my question:
How much is this extension going to wreak havoc on my touring plan for a Sunday in September?
As far as crowd level goes. We are not planning on taking advantage of any of the events except for the fireworks (hopefully at the entrance/exit as it looks like that's a great viewing location). I can't remember whose trip report I was reading that said the benches at the front are a great place to view it or I'd totally give you cred!
@coachwnh can you shed any light on the crowd levels? (sorry, I know you are sad to be home
They've adjusted Sept. park hours already on the website, Fri / Sat that were not already 9pm or later have moved to 9pm, and Sundays have remained 9pm with EMH to 11. So probably only running the fireworks on Fri/Sat/Sun. Which would explain why that Premium package only offered Fri/Sat/Sun. The crowd calendars especially for Fri/Sat/Sun will probably adjust significantly. And that could affect Mon - Thurs at Studios, because more attendance on the weekend because of fireworks would lead to even lighter crowds those 4 days.
This is about the 3rd time they've adjusted September hours in a large way (maybe the 6th if you count minor changes), which is truly spectacular since March dining reservations and July FP+ become more and more out of sync (if not irrelavant) when you plan your days around the park hours.

Yeah, I foresee that area ending 9/28 even if the sing a long continues over at AI.
There are Christmas parade floats that need to be returned to MK.
I would hope the fireworks continue but that's unlikely. As is Christmas ice skating.
