Frosted Snow Globe

I was at MK this afternoon and while watching the SADCT parade, I noticed a little bit of an A/C and humidity problem with one of the snow globes. It ended up looking like it was frosted (or at least having a blizzard inside).

Cinderella and Prince Charming stayed fully in character throughout but you couldn't see a thing. I'm sure this happens a lot with the weather in FL but it was the first time I'd seen it.

Well, sorry to burst a few bubbles, those Snow Globes are not air-Conditioned. they are air-cooled, basically just fans moving the air around. The float itself has air-conditioning in the lower-half, which makes me think there was a seal leak pushing the cold air into the bubble, causing condensation (exactly why they don't air condition them in the first place)

You are just on a roll today with putting people down..

I actaully like it, in purpose or not, it makes it seem more "fantasy like" to me.
Thanks for the pictures!! :sohappy:

You know...I was thinking the exact same thing. Every post has been so "well, aren't you just so wrong and stupid". Let up a little!

Yeah, I agree and it's really annoying. I especially love this post: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showpost.php?p=938325&postcount=6 It makes it even more funny that on the next couple of pages people prove half of the stuff he says wrong.

I love the "frosted snow globe" look. It looks really neat.

Awesome.....I don't know if I would be able to stay in character though. I'd be inside there drawing hidden mickeys in the condensation :)

I kind of thought that it might be really disorienting from the inside. If all you could see is a white haze in all directions I suspect I'd have trouble maintaining my balance.

I wonder if the CMs created the "seal leak"...
