Hi Susan!

Don't you just love technology???

I am actually kid and husband free at the moment, having had to bail on our planned carnival outing to go meet with a friend who is...um...entangled in a rather interesting situation.

I know the guy meant well. but I feel like I goofed up really bad. I just don't know computers.:brick:

Oh, and Vince, if you're still around, I just have to tell you how much I love the way you think so much about things. If that makes sense.

Of course, I'm assuming you're not thinking so much when you're pouring wet sand down everyone's pants :D .

Really? I've always thought my problem was thinking too much.

You didn't goof up...it's not easy for most of us. You should have heard me at the Dell store the other day, telling the guy I just wanted a laptop that would go on the internet without me having to do anything about it...bless his heart, he knew what I meant.

Really? I've always thought my problem was thinking too much.

Yes, really. You pay attention to your life...that's a great thing. I myself am sort of a drifter, so I admire focus and thought.

We got a new router and he told me I just need to go to this setting and right click this and that on my computer and I would have it. He did it on his laptop and it looked soooo easy. I said ok I have it and he left. When I got back in it all left my head.

Hey guys... just stopping in for a quick sec.

So sorry I disappeared earlier. I got booted again. The city is replacing all our water lines right now and our cable keeps going out. We think they hit one of the buried cable lines, it's sporadic though so I really don't have a clue. We've put in a call to Comcast.. apparently they've had hundreds of complaints in the last few days. They say their working on it.

Anyway... that means I'm in and out alot. :)

Hope y'all are doing well!

I got HP1 in the mail yesterday, finished it last night and I'm about 20 pages from finishing HP2. LOL I got that book Nibbs recommended today in the mail, so now I'm doubly anxious to finish all 6 books so I can read the new one! :sohappy:

Big hugs all around.

It's www.mugglenet.com 's new book - "What will happen in HP7". It's basically all their ideas (and probably fairly accurate ones!) of Who lives, dies, falls in love, and how it'll all end.

I can't wait to read it... it'll be fun seeing how much they got right in the final book!

Oh and here's a tip - don't buy it on mugglenet.com though. It's 13.95 there.

I got it on Amazon for .01 plus $3.99 shipping. :D

What DON"T you get a bargain on???

We think we just found out what is wrong. Why I can't get to the places he told me to get to. He said I would be wireless and the router is saying no wireless on it.

But I thought that's what a router is for?

Sorry, I'm no help!

If you're even still here...

Just decided to check out VMK after 3 months of not playing...stupid VMK. I remember now why I stopped playing.

Just checked out Bunny's blog.

Krystyna, you are the cutest pregnant girl in the history of histories! Thanks for sharing.

Off to listen to depressing music, as is my custom at this point in the evening.

Thank you all and good night!:animwink:

It's so hot and sticky here today that everytime I walk outside, my glasses fog up...

Same here.

Hey, if every MJ'er would be willing to email a picture of themselves to me, I could make a collage of all of us that we can use as Desktop wallpaper, a screen saver, etc...

Will do!

Ok, so I guess I now have time to elaborate on why Orlando has suddenly become the frontrunner. It's kinda odd because two months ago, it seemed as though all of Orlando's claims fell apart and Anaheim's stood tall. But now it's like Orlando spent those two months drawing up a new plan and dissecting all of Anaheim's points in an effort to make a comeback. And what a comeback! So this is what I've been spending time thinking about lately.

Family: I love my family very much, but I know that I had to leave. It was no longer a question. But I felt so guilty going so far away to California. I'm their only child and I'll just get up and walk out of their lives just like that? It felt so selfish. With Orlando, that changes. I'm in the same time zone and a mere 2.5 hour flight away. We could visit each other, pretty much whenever.

Friends: This is where I believe Anaheim had its greatest strength because two of my closest friends are there and I really wanted to be a part of their lives. I know a lot of people in Orlando but no one that I could call close. But who's to say they can't become that or that I can't meet and make new friends. It's Walt Disney World! It's filled with people just like me, well, not quite like me. Not to mention, I'll probably get to see so many of my Magic friends.

Culture: This really didn't ring with me until Jess told me she didn't see me as the "Cali type". I thought about it and she was right. I'm not a Cali boy. I'm not a surfer. I'm not some guy from the OC. And I really wondered if I could ever fit in there. It was really intimidating thinking about it. I belong with pixies and princesses and pirates (and when that Harry Potter park opens, wizards!)

Hockey: Cali has the Ducks and Kings, but I'm a Penguins fan! And being on the west coast, I dunno if I would ever get to see my beloved Penguins. Cause of the time differences, I really won't see many of their games and they only come to Cali once every 3 years. Being on the east, I can still follow my Penguins religiously. And while Orlando doesn't have a hockey team, Tampa does. The Penguins go to Tampa twice a year. With a 2 hour drive, I can see my beloved Penguins in person.

Disney: I love Disneyland and I will miss it greatly if I don't go to Cali. But hello, bloody friggin Walt Disney World! In the two weeks I was in Cali, I pretty much exhausted everything there was to do in Disneyland. Walt Disney World is so massive and so much goes on throughout the year, I don't see how I could ever exhaust it.

Crime: Spending all my life in Philadelphia, I really wanted to finally escape that world. Anaheim really offered that. Orlando is actually worse than Philly. And though I would like to finally live my life without looking behind me, if anyone knows how to stay out of trouble, it's me.

Money: I believed Florida could never match the money California offered. I was wrong, at least for one place.

Weather: Yeah, Orlando doesn't have an answer to this one. Anaheim is so much nicer. But I guess I can learn to deal with the humidity and if a hurricane comes, well, I'll run.

Cinderella Castle: A month from now will be the 6 year anniversary of my first day at Disney. That day changed my life forever and has affected almost every decision I made regarding my life since. And after all the things I've experienced in this journey, the thought of standing in front of that castle and saying "I'm home" brings such a swelling of joy in my heart and tears to my eyes.

It just feels like I'm getting my hopes up too soon though. If this opportunity falls apart, then Orlando could do the same. I really hope this works out. *crosses fingers*

Yay! I know you will make the right decision Vince.

Okay..... you'll be sorry you aksed....

Our AP's expire on next Saturday and we have no way to replace them and we have no idea when or if the tax refund will come back in. Andrew has the $$ in savings to get MJ a DQ pass so she won't miss that, but we only have 10maingates (ten entrances for each of us, me and MJ) and we have 3 comp ticets (only lets in one person per ticket) I know that many people see WDW as a fun place to go, but not necessary, for MJ it really is necessary.

The fall I took is going to take several weeks to heal and I am in a lot of pain.

Lisa and I had a fight Tuesday and because I didn't agree with how she wanted me to handle MJ, she called her husband to come and get her and has written us out of her life. I am stressed every time MJ asks for her and have no idea how we are going to avoid seeing her there so it won't be traumatic for MJ.

Andrew and I are having the same problems in our marriage that we have been, but it is wearing on me more now.

MJ is acting out some, I am sure it has to do with the fight she saw Tuesday.

Summer is terribly hard, we didn't get to go to the parks at all Wed and Thu because of the heat.

My teeth are getting a LOT worse, 4 of them have broken off at the gums, the two furthest back on the bottom are broken and the one on the right hurts a tremendous amount and is today exacerbating a migraine.

I need to go to my PCP and several other specialists and I can't because it costs 30 bucks everytime I go to a doctor.

there are more....but that is enough for now....

Oh Bonny, *HUGE HUGS* I wish there was something I could do. All I can do right now is pray that things work out for you- I know they will. Next week my schedule is not so crazy and I will make time to come by (or meet up in the parks if you go). Prayers and good-wishes going your way, and know that you can always talk to us here.

That is what we thought also but the light that is supposed to say that it is on is not on. So we don't know if we did something to throw it off or what. I am soooo lost.

Hey Luke... come up to Ohio for some good fun! We have winters that seem like they'll NEVER end! :lookaroun

Does your router come with an install CD, or directions you can look at? You may need to re-install the software on the main computer your router is hooked up to.

Hey guys... just stopping in for a quick sec.

Jess I never get to talk to you anymore.
We're out of sync! :(
I've finished HP 1 & 2 and am midway through 3. Fun!
((HUGS)) and tons of  for you and LizBear!

Hello, if anyone's around!

Have to go back and do more catching up, but before I do I just want to say:

{{{HUGS}}} for Bonny. It's so hard when everything seems to be going wrong to see the silver lining...you must feel so overwhelmed right now and I know sometimes nothing seems to help. I wish I was better at words, but I'm not, so all I can say is that you guys are in my prayers.

And I'm with everyone else on this...don't keep it inside if you need to talk. You have so many friends here who will always, always listen, no matter how bad you think it may sound. Never stay away just because things aren't always sunshine and roses...that's the time when you need your friends most.

Off to catch up...brb

Another one I never get to talk to!
Miss you Amy!
