I loved it, I thought it was soooo good. I felt like crying though whenever Ross was yelling at the answering machine and then Rachel shows up saying "I got off the plane". It gave me chills, and the rest of the show was really funny..

I'm gonna miss it! :(

I loved it aswell. Wasn't to funny, and wasn't to sentimental.

It ended the same way it started...a bunch of friends at the coffee place:)

I have to say I was so close to crying at the end:cry: I am a late comer to Friends (hey I was 4 when it started) but now I have grown to love it over the past few years. I thought it was a very good finally though and I liked the final shot of the peep hole. It was perfect. I'm so glad Ross and Rachel finally got together.:sohappy:
:sohappy: :sohappy: Thanks you Friends for 10 wonderful years :sohappy: :sohappy:

It was a great ending to a series...

BUT

I knew almost every spin they put on the table.

Kind of obvious, but made me smile so... :p

I mean, everyone knew Rachel was gonna get with Ross...

The twins surprised me though.

I'm still crying...I'm crying a lot (of course, I cried in Brother Bear...and even in Philharmagic:lookaroun )

I always liked Friends. It began during my Freshman year in college, and since it was the same night as Seinfeld, it quickly became part of our Thursday ritual...and of course, it got its oen drinking game.

I thought the last few episodes, and tonight's finale we good, but not quite as sharp as some of the previous seasons. I must say I thought the Friends finale was much better than that of Seinfeld.

With both Friends and Frasier ending this year, NBC is going to have a hard time filling the holes, although I am sure Joey will be to Friends as Frasier was to Cheers.

NBC has not had the best of luck introducing new shows the last couple of years. They must be out of ideas (as Law and Order is getting yet another spin-off). This seems to be an industry trend.

I think Joey should have a talk show...it could be called "HOW YOU DOIN' NEW YORK?"

I have a feeling that Joey will not do good. It's "california-ized" just like every other 1-season sitcom. Friends was good because it had 6 different people. I'm sure it will be on for a few seasons, but that's it.

Someone posted a spoiler last week on another board I belong to, and I didn't read it, but I did read the replies and based on the replies I knew the twins were coming. I hate when I spoil my own surprises!!

But it was a great finale. I cried my eyes out from the time Joey and Chandler hugged until the end!!

I think they should be able to keep "Joey" fresh, and the 8pm time slot will draw a lot from the younger crowd. I don't think it will be on 11 seasons like Frasier was, but I don't think it is supposed to. Joey's character is great because he is still relativing young....not such a great character when Joey turns 40.

So no one told you life was gonna be this way
Your jobs a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A.
It's like you're always stuck in second gear
And it hasn't been your day, your week, your month,

I'll be there for you
When the rain starts to pour
I'll be there for you
Like I've been there before
I'll be there for you
'Cuz you're there for me too...

Goodbye Chandler,Ross,Joey,Rachel,Monica and Phoebe :-(

I kinda have my doubts about Joey as a lead character. I just don't know if he's strong enough to carry a show. If they put a solid supporting cast around him and make "Joey" more of an ensemble show like "Friends," then it might work.

I thought it was great! I haven't watched Friends in a looooong time but I decided to see how it was all ending. I wasn't dissappointed. BTW I think the new "Joey" show is going to be a HUGE FLOP! I've been hearing terrible things about it and it doesn't look too promising. Let the Friends era die in all its glory and let it go.....

I loved it...The twins really surprised me but I loved that they got both a boy and a girl.

And I cried like a baby when Rachel showed up. "I got off the plane."

Oh, what to do now on Thursday nites???

Ross and Rachel hug and kiss, talking about how they're done being stupid and they mean to make it last this time.

Cut to all six of them in the apartment as movers are emptying out all the boxes. Monica slips one of the movers a bill and says she wouldn't be too upset if the dog sculpture fell off the truck. Joey looks around at the empty apartment and says "Does this mean there's nothing to eat?" One of them (Rachel?) says "do you realize that at one time, each of us has lived in this apartment?" Ross points out that he hasn't, before Monica says "Wait, what about that summer where you lived with Grandma, and tried to make it as a dancer?" Ross, in a nice jab at the show's time on the air, says "Do you realize we went almost TEN YEARS without mentioning that?" Chandler tells the babies to look around, since this was their first home, but more importantly, due to rent control, it was "a friggin' steal." Monica says to Chandler, "Oh, I almost forgot, I promised to turn our keys in." She lays her apartment key on the counter, before Chandler does the same. Ross, Rachel, Joey, and Phoebe all dig keys out and place them on the counter, too. Someone asks Monica and Chandler if they have to be at the new house right away. They say they have a little time, and Ross suggests they all get coffee. Chandler starts pushing the baby stroller out and sarcastically says "Where??" The six of them walk out of the apartment and disappear down the hallway.

Cut back to one last lingering interior view of the empty apartment, panning across the whole front room and ending with a shot of the inside of the front door.

Well, there is a plus side to me not watching this show on a regular basis (and probably only seeing 5 shows total after the first season)...I won't get sick of reruns!!! :lookaroun
