Monorail rides are still free. So are the numerous ferry and other boat rides. Bus rides are free, but nothing special.

Buttons, maps, kid cups, all great ideas.

My favorite freebie? Meeting new people from far away places who all enjoy finding The Magic that is Walt Disney World!

You, my friend, really do understand it beautifully.

Getting first time visitor buttons are amazing...but you wouldn't believe how even more so they are when you hand them right over to new people you've met who it's their actual first time there and they never knew about them.

we were at the Peco's Bill Tavern.. or what ever it was called back then...

we were at the Tavern with the Mile long bar, coming out of the Country Bear Jamboree.. and they had guys doing a show with country western songs and Guitars.. They were playing "ghost riders in the sky" and one of the guys grabbed a guest from the audience and gave him a little plastic cowboy hat to wear and had him "gallop around the room" .. at the end of the song, the guy was going to give the hat back.. .OH NO he was told, this is the only thing free that you will ever get at Disney world.. and the whole place shook with laughter..

it was very very true....

Sometimes at The Studios, if you participate with the Streetmosphere Characters in their shows, you can recieve "small prizes", such as keychains, small plastic trophies, etc. .

LOL okay :D

I have -heard- in the ice caves in epcot if you buy a drink you get a free plastic ice cube in it? :veryconfu

also:

I heard that in Fantastic plastic works inside innoventions in epcot there is a free mini robot you can make?

I've never seen those ice cubes at Ice Station Cool/Club Cool.

I have seen them at Sci-Fi Diner, but they cost like $4. And they only last a little while before they die.

However, if you buy a drink at Club Cool (the Coca-Cola place) you can get a free Club Cool or Epcot wrapper put on it.

You can make free mini robots at innoventions. However, they only choose a select number of people at a time (about 10 I think) to participate in the activities at a time. So unless you're picked, or a family member of someone who was picked, you'll have to wait awhile, or miss out on it.

If you complete the Virtual Magic Kingdom In-Park Quests (located in the Main Street Cinema, or others can be printed right from the website) you'll get free VMK trading cards you can redeem online for virtual prizes. They might also give you a free glow in the dark green VMK wristband, but I'm not sure if they still do that.

If they are having some pin event, or special pin release, WDW will occasionally hold a "Pin Pursuit." If you get the map stamped at certain locations, and complete it, you get the free completer pin (some times even limited edition).

Lastly, I remember the Yeti Vision game was offering a free ride photo from Expedition Everest if you completed all three levels of the game. But I don't think they do that anymore.

If you are staying in a Disney Hotel, they might make a towel animal for you. You can take those if you want. Or at least I THINK you can.:drevil: :lookaroun :D

mmm... you know...after thinking of it... one time I forgot to return the 3D yellow goggles back to the bin after Mickey's Philharmagic?

...oh...um...and I accidentally did the same with the matching purple pair at Muppetvision.

"Woops"

If its any consolidation, I have enough heart to never take the pair from It's Tough To Be a Bug. They seem much to classy with their funky bug-like antennas, in comparison to the yellow and purple pair, to be comp'd.
