Detailed descriptions and rules:

http://allears.net/pl/ticket.htm#credpass

"Disney allows you to UPGRADE most park tickets to a longer Magic Your Way ticket, an Annual Pass (AP), a Premium Annual Pass (PAP) or a Season Pass for Florida Residents (SP) prior to using or within 14 days from first use for MYW tickets. They will take the entire price of the ticket you started using and deduct it from the cost of the new ticket"

Yep, that's where I saw it. Of course my pea-brain didn't hold onto the within 14 days part. Lol! I guess by retro activating to the first day of use it eliminates the gettin-one-over part. Lol!

We've only ever traded in 1 day tix at a time so wasn't an option for us. We just didn't use it until we upgraded it.

I'll be getting my food using TiW! A $250 discount on my room and TiW is much better than 'free' QSDP! :sohappy:

Agreed.

And free food at that!!!!! Seriously though, I have never seen Free dining extended before last year so I honestly dont know what will be offered. Have a great night all!!! Marie

In a really strange not-meaning-to-be-mean-to-those-on-pins-n-needles way I think it's kinda cool that the Disney Gods are changing up their usual habits as far as the release dates, etc. Change is good. It keeps us all on our toes. It'll be interesting to see where the rest of the year ends up with the discounts/offers whether or not we will partake of their bounty.

Hi Princess, The advertisement for it says five nights but I ran all different date scenarios and the lowest I could do was 2 nights/ 3 days. If you look at the bottom on that flyer, it says to ask about other lengths of stay. Hope this helps! Marie

Hi Princess, I Am a travel agent with Kingdom Konsultant Travel who sponsor the site, so I have been running these since they were announced yesterday morning as well as the room discount that was also released. Many clients have different needs in terms of time spent onsite so I have looked at quite a few combinations. Have a great night! Marie

If you switch what's the cost difference? My thinking is that if you just saved $800 and to upgrade is going to cost you about the same go for it! That way with the dining plan you get the regular plan not the quick service plan.
