MTV has done a massive article on the horror teamup with all sorts of juicy quotes and some nice pics too. Robert Englund talked a little about the story: "I always thought the real trick of 'Freddy vs. Jason' [is that] you had to get into Jason's nightmares. We've got to see what makes Jason tick. In this movie we get in there. And Freddy's walking around in there, getting his feet dirty. And it's pretty sick stuff...Freddy's at loose ends to get people afraid of him anymore, [because] if you don't dream, Freddy can't hurt you. Freddy's trying to regenerate himself and he's using Jason to instill fear in the relatives of the offspring of the original Elm Street vigilantes. Freddy needs to manipulate Jason, and when he's in the dreams he can. What happens is that Freddy creates a Frankenstein. ... Freddy kind of spoils him, gives him a little too much dog food and he kind of turns on his master. And that's the gist of the plot watching the carnage unfold as Freddy and Jason wreak havoc". Amongst the scenes we'll see are Jason hacking away at teens at a rave party, along with back story elements of the characters, one such scene has Englund sans makeup in the famous boiler room: "Now it's [like the TV show] 'Millennium' — serial-killer creepy. It's Freddy's scrapbook. It's what Freddy was doing [in the boiler room] before they threw the Molotov cocktails. I'm also going to do this scene right when he gets off with the hung jury, when my lawyer gets me off".

Ok, I really thought this movie was gonna be a bomb with no real good storyline...(kinda like Hollywood saying...we need a movie...don't know what to do, so we'll throw 2 guys that people go to see into the same movie)...but...after reading that, I think this movie has some REAL potential to it.

Bloody Disgusting has a short description of a rumoured teaser trailer which'll apparently be attached to copies of "LOTR: The Two Towers" next month: "It will start with Freddy's theme and a camera is twirling around the hockey mask and then when the mask is in the center of the screen the glove will come crashing through".

Yeah Yeah Yeah -- It's becoming reality more and more every day... expect media hype when this trailer makes it's rounds.

:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Creature

Look for this creature in the film.

*It appears Freddy uses a lot darker color scheme this time, almost a Black(dark dark green) and Red, maybe it's just this creature and the lighting on the other shot?

My guess is that this story occurs sometime in the past when they were still killing. They have been dead for most of the films silly.

No, it is modern day. I heard is a battle of the control of Hell or something to that extent.

Well, I won't say you are wrong, but the teaser doesn't look that way, nor any of the info on the film I have heard so far... but we'll find out soon enough.

According to Upcomingmovies.com:

A group of teenagers finds themselves stuck in the middle of a battle between two forces of evil: silent stalker Jason Voorhees (Hodder) and gabby dream master Freddy Krueger (Englund), as the battle wages from Elm Street (the beginning of the film) to a climactic finale fought at Camp Crystal Lake.

At DarkHorizons.com

Freddy vs. Jason (August 15th) - In hell, Freddy Krueger decides to raise Jason Voorhees from the dead in an effort to use the killer for his own bidding, but even he can't control the power of Jason and the two end up facing off with each other with some teens caught in the middle.

:D
It's all good. I'm just happy the film is coming... Regardless it seems the movie will be approached in a serious tone and a lot of time and money was spent into it.

Could be over Supremcy of Hell I suppose.
