That was my theory as well but my husband seemed rather convinced that the RFID couldn't be read from that distance. He had a point in that I could see there being a lot of issues with using the bands for everything else (i.e. park entry, etc.) if the readers could read them from 50 feet away y'know?@ExtinctJenn - if you had bands I think that's how they find your location, using the RFID chip.
When I went in September sans band I got the rose, and that's how they found me. Last month I didn't get a rose because both my husband and I had bands on.
Well, the CM told us we didn't need the roses because we had bands...and the CM bringing us our food greeted us by name. So I'm going with the bands on this one. That was my theory as well but my husband seemed rather convinced that the RFID couldn't be read from that distance. I'm curious if they read from that distance how they keep everything else the bands are used for from picking them up from that distance. I'd assume some sort of proximity rule built into it or those readers can only read from 1 inch away? Interesting how versatile the RFID technology is. I wonder if they will do other things using them the way BOG does.Well, the CM told us we didn't need the roses because we had bands...and the CM bringing us our feed greeted us by name. They already are! We had lots of ride pics show up in our PP account and we only prepurchased the CD, not PP+.I'm curious if they read from that distance how they keep everything else the bands are used for from picking them up from that distance. Glad your wait finally paid off!OK, so we are 19 days out and this morning I was able to book BOG lunch for my entire party and use my QS entitlements as payment. Sooooooo excited
BOG Lunch is considered a quick service meal correct for DP Purposes? Thanks!
So not worry. We did not get confirmation but all our info was in the computer when we checked in.We signed up today for 1/16 but did not choose to decide on our meal, this was just for a table. The reservation shows under the beourguest website but not on the MDE app or website. Should I be worried?
I screen capped the reservation but just wasn't sure if it should be showing on the main disney site.

I don't think anyone's shows up on the MDE. That made me nervous, but our reservation was there. We signed up today for 1/16 but did not choose to decide on our meal, this was just for a table. The reservation shows under the beourguest website but not on the MDE app or website. Should I be worried?

Yes just check in at the kiosk. There is a sign for FP+.Thanks,
Do we just check in at the check in kiosk outside the restaurant?
Ditto yeah I don't think anyone has seen it show up in there yet, presumably because it's a different way of making a FP+ selection right now (i.e. you don't chose it in with your normal 3). What I'm curious to see is if once it's all in one place, will it count as one of your 3? It doesn't now thank goodness!I don't think anyone's shows up on the MDE. I know this was answered (Yes) but just my two cents... this is quite possibly the best use of a QS credit ever. The food and atmosphere is truly TS quality. I was pretty much blown away when we were there two weeks ago.BOG Lunch is considered a quick service meal correct for DP Purposes? Thanks!
