I wonder if they'll have any sort of fountain rededication to coincide with the official grand opening of SSE on Feb 18? I admit it's doubtful, but I kind of expect some sort of hoopla for SEE, so why not throw in the fountain?

I think its just general maintenance. The Japan Pavilion water is drained as well, and it's being refurbed. It seems January is the time for water refurbs this year! Splash, Blizard Beach, Fountain of Nations, Japan.
