Really? This is supposed to be an upgrade?

It probably is. He’s more experienced, less likely to generate big repair bills, but not necessarily more likely to get a podium. I’d like to see Schumacher another year, considering he didn’t really have a car last season. After a really rough start KMag really hasn’t outperformed him that dramatically.

Mick has cleaned up the mistakes a lot. And as you said he’s not being outperformed by his teammate. The problem is the car hasn’t kept pace with the rest of the field. They started well but have had almost no money for upgrades.

Crazy season. A couple of months ago Wolff was panhandling to get de Vries a test. Now de Vries may have to choose a seat, and Ricciardo could have year off.

I think if Ricciardo doesn’t get a drive for next season, he won’t be back. Herta will have his super license by then (don’t even get me started on that nonsense), and there is other young talent out there. To me, the only option less attractive than Ricciardo is Stroll…and, well…we know all about that.

But, back to racing after a short “mini summer/fall” break. Finally, Singapore.

It’s wild he just walked away from Leclerc at the end, with Leclerc knowing there was a possibility he would win if he could just stay five seconds behind.
If Checo could do that with this redbull, imagine would Max would have done starting on the front row and/or staying clean during the race. The car was just better. And Checo is good on these types of tracks.

It’s over before Austin. I wouldn’t mind seeing Mercedes push Ferrari. Erstappen just needs a win and fastest lap in Japan.
Verstappen just needs the win and fastest lap in Japan. Just…lol. Like it’s easy.

But yeah, it’s over. That point gap needed keeps dropping substantially after each race.
