I just have to say, I'm not a fan of grid penalties when the teams need to replace parts on their cars. Oh how I long for the old days of racing.
I’m all for them, and frankly want the see points leaders take them regularly. Makes the races far more interesting. To be fair though, I fully support reverse grid qualifying…so there’s that.

It would appear even the drivers might be having some trouble understanding who is starting where.

At least he has a sense of humor about it.

It's not the result but rules to how it ended. NASCAR changed so they didn't finish under yellow after many complaints.

I truly respect Red Bull and the team. I call them the Patriots (Brady era) of Formula 1. You might not like them but can appreciate what they built and have grown into.
I agree with this. I think if you have a safety car in the final 5 laps, just red flag the thing.

Scary incident for Albon after surgery for appendicitis. Hope he makes a full recovery.

"Following surgery, Alex suffered with unexpected post-operative anaesthetic complications which led to respiratory failure, a known but uncommon complication. He was re-intubated and transferred to intensive care for support.

"He made excellent progress overnight and was able to be removed from mechanical ventilation yesterday morning. He has now been transferred to a general ward and is expected to return home tomorrow. There were no other complications.”
