Clearly. They were just able to hide it better than Red Bull earlier in the season. Look how dominant Red Bull was with their flexi-wing. Everyone knows exactly what’s going on.Too much wing flex.
When we get a serious answer as to how 6’1” George Russel got into a car designed specifically for 5’7” Hamilton…and wearing shoes 2 sizes too small… and was so dominant at Bahrain and it not being the car, then we can entertain the GOAT theory. Until then, there isn’t much to it.he will never be the GOAT no mattet how many championsips he has.
there will always be Senna / Schumacher and Fangio ahead of him.
Alonso showed us real talent this weekend.
That was a disaster. The track I mean.Well this is the craziest race I’ve ever seen. Good grief.
And the stewards and decisions made too. It’s like they had no idea what to do.That was a disaster. The track I mean.
Ditch that track. Issue solved. And the stewards and decisions made too. It’s like they had no idea what to do.
Maybe. There was so many things being pulled by the drivers that didn’t really have anything to do with the track.Ditch that track. Issue solved.
I thought Bottas should have been penalized for slowing down way too much on the first yellow flag when everyone started going into the pits.Maybe. There was so many things being pulled by the drivers that didn’t really have anything to do with the track.
And now we get to go to the most boring track for the finale. The championship will be decided during qualifying. Boring boring boring.
The 5 second penalty was for Hamilton hitting the back of Verstappen…I guess they believed Verstappen brake checked him, but Hamilton had plenty of room to go by. That was on Hamilton completely.I thought Bottas should have been penalized for slowing down way too much on the first yellow flag when everyone started going into the pits.
and everyone slow rolling before the restart. Even if that’s legal, stupid.
why Lewis didn’t go by when max slowed? And did max do something naughty there? Did that info for the pass even get to Mercedes? It seems they did but didn’t get the info to Hamilton in time. Just a misunderstanding?
what’s the extra 5 second penalty on max when he gave the place back?
Nope, you were right. I was wrong. The penalty was for leaving the track, even though he gave the spot back. That makes it even worse. OMG what a joke.I thought Bottas should have been penalized for slowing down way too much on the first yellow flag when everyone started going into the pits.

Yeah. It’s all weird.Nope, you were right. I was wrong. The penalty was for leaving the track, even though he gave the spot back. That makes it even worse. OMG what a joke.
“Max, give the spot back to Hamilton”Another 10 second penalty. To me this is crap. The explanation is crap. But whatever.
Verstappen gets time penalty, keeps 2nd
Max Verstappen received a 10-second penalty for causing a collision with Lewis Hamilton at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, but he still will be classified in second place after finishing the F1 race 15.3 seconds clear of Valtteri Bottas in third place.www.espn.com
No rest for the weary. In 6 days in Abu Dhabi , my bet is Lewis to get his eight record WC much to the chagrin of his haters. The 5 second penalty was for Hamilton hitting the back of Verstappen…I guess they believed Verstappen brake checked him, but Hamilton had plenty of room to go by. That was on Hamilton completely.
In addition to Bottas, Hamilton should have been penalized for lagging well behind Verstappen of the formation lap after the first red flag. That’s a no no. And Hamilton should have been given a five place grid penalty for ignoring double yellow safety flags during practice Friday. He was just fined. Verstappen was given a penalty earlier in the year for the exact same thing.
These stewards in Saudi Arabia were in way way over their heads. It’s time for permanent F1 stewards.
Stewards messed up that call.Well, it’s clear from turn 6 on the first lap that the FIA and the stewards have every intent on giving Hamilton the championship.
I’m still trying to figure out how Hamilton did not gain an advantage after he came back on the track.Stewards messed up that call.
