I had tons of funa nd by all means, don't skip out on countries that aren't into wine or anything. It's not all about the wine anyway, there's also beers and liquids you can try from other countries.

If I'm not lazy tomorrow, I'll post up all the menu for Food and wine,...or at least the booths.
.

My apologies if my post made you think you should skip countries that aren't known for wine. What I meant was that you should skip the WINE at countries that are not known for wine. By all means try the food at EVERY country.

Trivia: Waaaaaay more beer than wine is sold at the food and wine festival. Somewhere online there was a report that stated the number of wine glasses and the number of beer glasses they went through. The beer glasses far surpassed the wine glasses.

And if you aren't lazy tomorrow, and if you feel you have the time, I'd love to see a schedule of which complimentary wine and/or beer seminars are being held by which companies/countries/regions in which locations on each day.

For example there are usually a number of cooking/food demonstrations each day in Odessy (sp?). And it is different every day. The same with the wine seminars in Innoventions West or the Festival Welcome Center. And usually, right around Morrocco France there is a seminar area as well as the Australian compound.

If you could post the schedule for the whole festival (a scanner might work better than typing) I would be most appreciative.

I always get disappointed when I arrive at the festival only to find my favorite vineyard has just given a complimentary seminar the day before I arrived, or will be giving one 2 days after I leave.

Let the eating and drinking begin!!!!:slurp: :sohappy:

Oh my goodness I had so much fun at the food and wine festival yesterday and that austrilian wine testing THE MOM is talking about is actually not 10 Dollars but 7 dollars now. =D

What a bargain! Even though you don't get a "full pour" you still get the same amount as at least two glasses at the restaurants, which average $7+ each. So it ends up being a two (or more) for one Happy Hour.
