I don't know about your area but the niche food trucks around here are just as pricey as a b&m restaurant. The only thing truly inexpensive is the hot dog cart.
Same here, for some reason people like to spend big $ to get food out of a truck. That being said the Enchanted Fare truck sounds interesting and it would be cool to check out some of the more popular food from other locations around the world.

Some food trucks are great! My DH's work has a different food truck come in every evening during their busiest times. Great free food (work pays for it) for the employees and their families. We have some great trucks in the DC Metro Area.

Are they actually going to be trucks, or "trucks" in the sense that many of the semi-permanent food stands in the park are themed to outwardly resemble vehicles of some kind.

I just had a tasty BBQ brisket sandwich from a bright red food truck a moment ago. It was good but im afraid that these will suffer from the DDP disease and the quality will not be up to par.

I just don't get the appeal. It's food. On wheels. That can be just as pricey as a sit down restaurant/diner/café.

But hey, to each their own. I wonder if they'll have LTM food truck shirts to go with it.

I'm intrigued by this, the Disneyland corn dogs are awesome. My only question is whether or not this will cheapen Food and Wine.

Cool! Very welcome. Food trucks are VERY in right now. I've had some wonderful food truck food--sit-down restaurant quality for under $10. We'll see how that will work for Disney, however, since these really are just "pretend" food trucks.

As @Radok Block pointed out, the low overhead gives people a chance to do something off the wall that simply might not generate enough business to support a brick and mortar restaurant. We have a number of food trucks here in Jacksonville and while you will find a number of them that do classic favorites a good chunk of them will do some really good, off the wall food.
