I will be in Disney World from March 7-14. I noticed that the Flower and Garden Festival begins on March 18. Will most of the flowers be planted by the time I am there or will there be a lot of work going on to get everything ready?

Much of it will be ready. Topiaries and signage will most likely be complete, I'm sure some of the bed work will continue right up to the start. Even though complete, there may still be some construction walls up with some of the displays. Booths and exhibits will not be operating however.

At the beginning they don't have everything out but as each day goes by they add more and more, it's really great to see the new things as the days go by, and they guarentee 30,000,000 blooms. I've learned alot and it has helped me with my garden too.

What kinds of booths and exhibits go on during this time? I am going end of april into May and have never been at this time of year. Thanks :)

When you enter Epcot, pick up a special Flower and Garden guidebook that will list all that is available. In addition to the large number of displays and new gardens, there are various interactive exhibits like a butterfly garden. Throughout World Showcase there are booths offering sale of all sorts of gardening implements, gadgets, decorations. There are also technical presentations on different aspects of gardening at various locations and the popular Flower Power concert series where bands from the 60's give multiple daily concerts throughout the festival.
