Florida Resident Disney Vloggers on YouTube

If anyone in this thread has never checked out the TattleLife message board, or the Florida Resident Edits YouTube channel, you probably should. They both provide a great look at what's behind the curtain with these vloggers, especially the Trackers and the Kays. These people present the nice façade in their videos, but are not good people for the most part. It's eye opening. And it's not just "haters"-much proof is presented through these 2 avenues of what these people are really like. Lying, lazy, money-grubbing, deleting any comments that question/criticize them in any way, using their children as cash cows even after threats to the child's life have been publicly made. I used to defend them; not any more. The Disney vlogger bubble will burst at some point, so they better get their resumes ready.

So the Kay Brothers (Michael and Dave) has been in the hot seat lately for their Disney Cruise vlogs. Michael released the first Disney Cruise vlog but later deleted a portion of it cause of the controversy. As guests who are not vaccinated need to have a PCR test. Vaccinated guests do not need to test on embarkation day. They both took the PCR test and vlogged it confirming that they are not vaccinated.

The issue for me is it's irresponsible for them especially Michael being on the Disney "media list" and having a Disney-centric youtube channel for going to the parks all the time unmasked.
But who cares if they aren't vaccinated. That's their choice. I disagree with them as I am vaccinated but that's their choice.

Justin's DLP Phantom Mansion ride-through is a must see. His wdw hurricane one is interesting.
He can be annoying sometimes, but his knowledge of Disneyland and historical info is un-matched. He's a self-proclaimed history nerd. I didn't even know there is a park right beside DLP called Walt Disney Studios until he did a vlog from there. His Randomland series is so informative. I really enjoy his vlog's with his girlfriend, Ally. They are fun together as are Tim and Jenn.
Justin also has really great travel vlogs that are off the beaten path. I've really enjoyed his Route 66 vlogs! His quirkiness keeps the material from getting too dry. I also enjoy Molly's videos from AllEars--it was hers that convinced me to go to Boo Bash. She doesn't take herself too seriously, and does fun challenges in the parks that viewers send in; she had one video where she was supposed to film the 'perfect day in the Magic Kingdom,' but so many rides ended up being closed that she turned the video into 'making the best of a bad day in the MK.' I appreciated that. I think PCDev doesn't get enough love, either. He is very thorough with his explanations and discussions and skips the clickbait.

The issue is that if he isn’t vaccinated he shouldn’t have been indoors at Disney with no mask on.
I find the thought process of those brothers somewhat fascinating, if I'm honest. Particularly Dave Kay, who was flying around the country in science goggles not so long ago to guard against COVID and is now cavorting mask free and unvaccinated through the parks and on cruise ships. His Hawaiian vlogs, though, are still one of the most fascinating/boring things I've ever seen. I think I will always remember them as a cautionary tale for how to recognise you're having a bad holiday and need to correct course. Dave's "Why Kiki?" pronunciation of Waikiki is also burned into my brain.

I feel the same way about Jen Tracker's "delicious"

There is nothing ok with taking the hard earned money from people who have real jobs as if you are a panhandler and then having the gull to boast about it, sometimes in view of the public at the top of your lungs while in a theme park to everyone, I.E. "$200.00 super chat from IluvTacos! Thx IluvTacos!" Then you use it go make yourself a millionaire.

People idiotically give them money, the old addage is correct- a fool and their money are soon parted- but people give them money and be like "go have a dole whip on me!". No you ignoramus, they are not going to use your money for a dole whip. they are going to use it to make themselves rich while you flush away the $16.00 you earned for a hours work at your 9-5 job. Nickel and diming people with super chats and their own personal merch is disgusting.

What is more disgusting is these vloggers making money off a theme park or ride they have nothing to do with. They have a video of Pirates of the Carribean for example and they decide to monitize it, well you are making money off Disney you did not earn. You didn't create the ride. You didn't build the AA's. Why should you make any money from the dreams and hard work and blood, sweat and tears off someone else's vision? Makes you a tool and a hack. Especially when you film yourself wearing your own merchandise in the park so people can buy what you wore on your website as if you are a sports star or something.

You wana have a vlog? Fine. You wanna show off your trip to a theme park? Fine. Turn off your superchats and don't monitize someone else's dreams. Have some class. The only vloggers like what I describe who have class is Themeparkworldwide.
Wait, what? :D

It's how they are making money and it is legitimate. They aren't doing it because they have too much time in their hands right. In fact, there is plenty of work that goes into it. Some non-live videos require post-production work and a lot of this involves a video rendering, it is time-consuming depending on the length and the needs. The bottom line is, it isn't a free job. Oh and by the way, on the contrary the likelihood of being a millionaire as a YouTuber is rather super miniscule. And superchats don't make you a millionaire.

Moreover, it is not a requirement for people to super chat their thoughts. Some do, but what they do with their money it's up to them. Some want to become well-known in that community, some may have a very important question to answer, and honestly, some just want to support the channel that frankly speaking may help them with their chores, stress, and whatever the difficulties and joy life throw at them. I mean who are we to judge?

And speaking about making money off a theme park ride they have nothing to do with, that's exactly what Disney wants, which is for more people to promote the park, to put as much content about Disney on social media. It's a free ad for them and if Disney has an issue with this, they need to fire their marketing leaders. It's free money.

We all come in one place for our love for Disney. The vloggers get the financial benefit, the audience gets the Disney love on a regular basis and Disney as a business gets all the free ads, increases sales, more money to invest in the park. What not to love?

Tried looking at the Tattlelife message board, haven't a clue how to find the thread as there's hundreds?

I used to watch the Trackers but I got a little burned out on them for various reasons. I watch Molly some and enjoy her challenges (especially riding water rides while she hates getting wet). My go-to's right now to get a Disney fix are:

ResortTV1: I like their videos, particularly the Friday night live events. Not as big of a fan of the constant greeting of people joining or commenting but I like their content.

PCDev: Strikes me as a genuinely nice person and provides a little more realistic version of the parks.

4K WDW: Great videos doing walkarounds and riding rides. The person doesn't talk and it is literally just walking and riding rides. Sometimes, they suppress the background music to avoid copyright laws and I understand that as well but sometimes I want to hear the background music.

I don't necessarily begrudge the vloggers what they do but it is amazing how much some of them may make given what they are doing.

With everything going on now with theme parks, if you want a vlogger with no drama, no clickbait and just plain fun, it's Paging Mr. Morrow. Nate seems just unbothered and just living his life.

I can't stand him at all. Along with many others.

I tolerate All Ears and the Food Blog (although there love of everything Disney does is rubbing me the wrong way), Cory Meets World and oyby.

They get a load of backlash for having a nanny taking care of Jackson that they're accused of trying to hide. A few links to twitter where Jenn says she refuses to have anything to do with Tim's mum and then the accusations over their old video. Knew the last two but not that they had a nanny, not that there's any laws against that.

We used to be big Tracker fans. We watched them before they were "Disney Youtubers". Back when they were just recording their park shenanigans. But over time they became unbearable and SOOOO hypocritical.

Jenn says she doesn't drink and hasn't had one in 2 years meanwhile there are wine bottles and glasses seen in the back ground of videos during her "sober" times. She only recently admitted to drinking again because FRE made a video point out the hypocrisy. Tim says he'll never buy a Tesla because Elon Musk is a "terrible person". Buys a Tesla. Jenn says at the beginning of the pandemic, If you want to watch videos on the WDW reopening go somewhere else. 3 days later, Tim is at DS for the reopening. Once it became about the money and their gosh golly gee image, they lost me.

Also the "Now its time to help" at the end of a video where they stay at a Copper Creek Cabin never really rubbed me the right way either.

I agree on PCDev he seems like a really good dude. I'm going to Universal in January. His videos really help with updates at the parks.

I'm not complaining, because I don't really care nor support this channel, but I've always found it odd that ResortTV1 can legally just reupload Disney-owned content onto their Patreon page, and charge people to listen to product that isn't theirs.

Again, I'm not hating on these vloggers for doing this, just find it a little...strange, that's all.
How are they "creators" of audio that they didn't create?
