Florida Resident Disney Vloggers on YouTube

I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and I like to believe that people can learn and grow from the past mistakes. This said, I’m going to ask, why did people dig up this stuff out of THOUSANDS of videos? People say that it’s their fault they left it up, but honestly, I feel like they could’ve just forgotten the videos existed for how many they actually have. Things said was not acceptable of course, but still. Nothing they can do about it at this point, you just have to hope they learned and grew from it.

I personally love The Trackers and I felt that their apology video was sincere. It takes a certain quality to admit when you have done something wrong. I admire their efforts.

I thought that initially also. Perhaps though somebody who enjoys their videos decided to look at some of their earlier stuff which is very easy to do. I've done this myself in the past and was surprised to see titles including words like 'Hot chick', 'Strippers' and 'hookers' etc. They were more click bait though with one of them driving past a strip club saying "Oh look, a strip club". There was another where they talked about using tampons soaked in vodka to get a buzz unseen if alcohol was banned at someplace. I didn't notice those offending videos they're now apologising for back then, but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that somebody did and was offended?

Only that person knows their true motifs and only Tim & Jenn know whether they're apologising 100% for the right reasons or not. The rest is just speculation on our parts.

I just discovered there's a youtube site that shows Disney vloggers saying or doing things that they perhaps would prefer not to be seen. It's the site hosting this, I have no idea if this site made the initial complaint to Disney or whether the person who did saw it on here (if at all)?

What this video showed was my exact gripe with them. They said they weren't going to go when everything reopened. If they wanted to make that choice that is fine but it was easy to see that the second that they were going to be "hosted" they were going to jump at that opportunity. If they want to make the case that this isn't their job then they would have stuck with the "I'm not going" stance. This shows this is about the money because if they don't go they won't get hosted again and won't have more watch-worthy videos for them to get ad revenue from. Kinda hard to disagree with the video when he literally talked out of both sides of his mouth. Actions obviously spoke louder than words.

I get what you're saying, that's fair enough. Personally it doesn't bother me that he changed his mind on going, but it kind of makes an easy target of himself.

I really have to agree. Although TheTimTracker never actually says it, he is basically a paid influencer for The Walt Disney Company. That said, it took a lot of work to get this status. Disney doesn’t do this for anyone. 99.9 percent of the time TheTimTracker gives an opinion about Disney, it’s positive. Even when he gives a negative opinion about something Disney, it’s done so nicely and politely, you can barely realize it’s a negative opinion.

To be honest, If Disney gave me a free trip, I would say positive stuff too 😀

Funny how they use there own narrative to suit.
He said " we won't be going to DS on the opening day " . Then went the day before opening to a hosted event with far reduced numbers.
Does this make him a sell out 🤷🏼‍♂️. It's entirely up to you to decide.

I could be mistaken, but that video of him at DS was from a media day that happened before the initial re-opening of DS.

Tim went for the Springs media event I believe on May 19. Other than that, they've been vlogging about exploring local parks and trails and other things away from theme parks. So yeah, I'd say they pretty much stayed true to their word. There is not a single City Walk/Springs or Universal video posted since that one media day where nothing was open... he was there to mostly look at the signs and markers.

But his point of not going was because there was not enough to do to warrant risking exposure. Media tour or not it was the same amount of stuff open and there was still other people who were attending. It's not like he was the only one in all of Disney Springs checking it out.

I think this is true for a lot of people. Which is probably a good thing. We want people to realize the mistakes they made and learn from them. Evolve as a person.
I wonder if those people who posted death wishes on their unborn child when they announced the pregnancy have evolved.

He wasn't.... around anyone? There was nothing open? Did you watch the video? Even his Disney rep "tour guide" was via phone. There was more risk walking into a Publix than what he went to. You're grasping at straws here.

You quoted me and still put words in my mouth. I didn't say nothing open. The Trackers in the first 30 seconds of this video () they literally say, "I don't think there is necessarily a reason for us to have to go." But if Disney is hosting you I guess that is all the reason that they need.

No point in discussing this. It's obvious that the media event was much different than opening day .

You said "the same amount of stuff" was open. There was nothing open, so I was confused why you even said that.

It seems like fanbases for anything always has it's share of very intense (or "toxic", as some people say) members that make very nasty comments online, usually directed at other fanbases of something/someone in the same genre, but you'd think that fans of anything connected to Disney theme parks would be different, just based on the nature of theme parks-fun, innocence, togetherness, community. Apparently, that is not the case, at least with some Disney theme park "fans".
