December 1 Crystal Palace Dinner
December 2 'Ohana Breakfast, Mickeys Backyard BBQ Dinner
December 3 Hollywood & Vine Breakfast, Scifi Dinner
December 4 Tusker House Breakfast
December 7 Akershus Breakfast, Via Napoli Dinner

Chef Mickey’s and Crystal Palace for dinner are both very good we enjoyed them.
Ohana for breakfast is great! I recommend Tonga Toast or Macadamia Pineapple pancakes with a press pot of coffee.
We never did Mickey Backyard BBQ but it looks like a lot of fun.
Hollywood & Vine, we have only had dinner there, but it was good if a little noisy.
To be honest we didn’t care for Sci-fi, my family preferred 50”s Primetime Café, other may disagree.
We never did Tusker House either.
We did Akerhaus for dinner and I enjoyed the food, DW and DS did not, also DS was at the age where all girls had cooties so he didn’t enjoy all the Princesses.
We have not done Via Napoli yet but I have heard good things about it.

Enjoy and have a wonderful trip.

We have actually done most of those within the past month! Chef MIckey's is better for breakfast than dinner...we went twice for breakfast on our past trip. Crystal Palace dinner is way better than their lunch, so good choice there. You will get a lot of the same choices at Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's for dinner, so I would move CM to breakfast if you could. Mickey's Backyard BBQ is really fun, but here's my tip. Get there at least an hour before the show starts, and post someone in your party at the rope (keeping people out of the barn/dining area). They let people in 20 at a time to sit and get food, so if you aren't in the front you will end up sitting outside with a worse view. We got the bench right at the stage/dancing area and it was AWESOME. We really like Sci Fi dine in for the atmosphere...the food isn't the best in the world. But it's such a cool restaurant that you can't pass it up! Their spinach dip is really yummy, and you have to try the chocolate peanut butter cake. The apple crisp dessert was not that good. I usually just get a burger there, which is fine but not something I crave in advance, you know? Sounds like you guys are going to have an awesome trip! If you can, try to fit in Kona cafe for breakfast or dinner, it is so amazing...our favorite restaurant on the whole property.

I'm sorry

I gave you a bad tip, for some reason, (dreaming of Disney?) I thought I saw a breakfast reservation at Kona Cafe (where you can get Tonga Toast and macadamia pancakes) Vs Ohana for breakfast. Kona isn't a character meal but it is just about the best breakfast at WDW either way enjoy!

Most look good, but two you should think about. First, SciFi had been getting alot of bad reviews lately, and i agree the rviews are warranted. The food is just blah. And two, mickeys backyard bbq is good, but the weather may be a factor at that time year as it may be cold.

Mickey's Backyard BBQ was probably the most fun we have had as a whole family out of all our trips. We abs. loved it! We went in December & the weather was great, so I wouldn't worry to much about that.

We need time for things to happen.
Wow...

...You love you some breakfast! :)

All good choices - although I would definitely do Chef Mickey's for Breakfast instead of dinner and skip the Sci Fi as the food is way below average! 50's Prime Time as another poster suggested has great food and is a great all around experience as well.

I can only comment on the ones I have done.

Both Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are a lot of fun. The food is ok,not great, not bad but a lot of fun for kids.

The Sci-Fi is pretty neat. My daughter loves it.

Tuskar House, I have not eaten there since it has started character meals but ate there a while back and really liked it.

Akershus is one of our favorite places to eat. I prefer the dinner as there is so much to have but either way the place is beautiful, the character interaction is great.

I might suggest the Akershus lunch instead of breakfast... it requires an open mind but it is tasty and the breakfasts there is probably the weakest of the ones on your list.

Enjoy Mickey's Backyard BBQ. My family makes a point of doing this anytime we are here and now all kids are grown, they still insist on going  Plus, BBQ is pretty good. If you really like BBQ, try Whispering Canyon Cafe in WL - your son will LOVE it! While not a character meal, there is plenty of activity from the staff:ROFLOL:(ask for katsup or a longer straw!), parents will enjoy also and the BBQ is much better/fresher and it's all you can eat! :slurp: AND they have bottomless milkshakes that are truly awsome!
