Considering the incredible number of people that go to Splash Mountain at open, I think your assumption is incorrect. My experience has been that people go one of three places...........Tomorrowland (primarily to Space Mountain), Frontierland (Splash and BTM), or Fantasyland (The kiddie stuff if they have small tykes). We always follow the same pattern.........Splash, BTM, then swing over and get a fast pass for Space, and then work the park at our leisure. Always. Maybe we are in a rut...LOL! By the way, I haven't waited more than 30 minutes for anything in years. My kids are always amazed when they exchange stories with other families that spend the whole day in line. It's all a matter of getting the huge line attractions out of the way first. Then you can really enjoy yourselves!

Same here! And Splash is my favorite ride, so I always ride it first, not to run the risk of having it go 101...

I usually head for Tommorrowland to get fastpasses for Space Mountain then to POTC then BTMRR then back to Tommorrowland.

We used to head for Splash Mountain or BTMRR, but on our last trip we departed from this routine. We decided to hit Fantasyland first, to avoid the lines (we were there at opening). Hit hit completed all of Fantasyland (minus Dumbo and IASW, refurb) in an hour. Everything was a walk-on, but we got stuck for at Philharmagic because we got into the lobby just as the doors were shutting for the show. Hitting Fantasyland first worked out really well for us.

I always start to the left with Adventureland and end the day at Tomorrowland. That way by the time we get to Tomorrowland it's night time. I always liked the way Tomorrowland looks at night with all the lights and stuff, gives it more of that futuristic feel.

When I was younger, we did Adventureland first. Our last trip we headed straight to Fantasyland.

If I couldn't go to Tomorrowland first, I'd freak out and wonder why it's closed down!

Then, I don't know where I'd go. I always go to TL first, even when I'm only there fr a few hours. I'd probably head to Adventureland or Frontierland. But it would feel weird.

Seeing all the replies, it makes me think that going to fantasyland first would be best (for myself at least). I know there are many rides in that area which i would never wait their mid day times for.

Uh oh, this thread may change everyone's usual path. If that happens and we all change thinking another land is less crowded, then in the end it will all be the same anyway if we all shift. :lol:

Adventureland, straight to Pirates of the Carribean. That or I pass Adventureland by, get a fastpass for Splash Mountain and go back to Pirates for the standby.

Being the nerd I am I have to go take a few pictures of the castle first, then the little statue of Donald Duck, and from there its off to The Haunted Mansion. Wow I must be the only one that goes to Liberty Square first. Then I head over to Big Thunder and Splash. (maybe a stop first for a hokie(turkey) leg first)
