Looking at those prices outside the vacation bubble - wow, sticker shock! I must be in a total different mindset while on vacation.

As long as people fork over those kind of "bucks" Disney will continue to raise the prices. I get that people will pay more at Disney, but that's just ridiculous.

I am mixed on the prices. While most of the menu is priced pretty similar to any steakhouse you would go to, there are some items that stick out as being just plainly overpriced. The menu isn't that special, so reviews will have to be through the roof for us to want to try it. I'm more interested in what STK and Morimotos has to offer...

First the Timeshares at the Disney's Polynesian Village Resort now this. What is happing at Walt D$sney World. I Hope this place fails and then they can rebuild Pleasure Island.
Why do you want a new restaurant offering to fail? Because it doesnt offer $5 burgers? There needs to be a mix of offerings, from low end to high end.

It is similarly priced to other high end restaurants in Orlando.

For example, at the Bull and Bear just a mile or so away from The BOATHOUSE. An 8oz filet is $49. A Tomahawk for two is $130, Swordfish $36.

They are all very comparable with The BOATHOUSE.

The only thing low end at WDW lately is the rides or lack of. Why did they destroy Pleasure Island for this? Maybe it is me but the prices have been rising and service has been lacking the last 10 years.

I get all that, and it's good my Disney stock, but you won't see me shelling out those kind of $$$$'s. We do enjoy eating at a lot of the TS restaurants, just not in that price range. Bon Appetite!
