I get all that, and it's good my Disney stock, but you won't see me shelling out those kind of $$$$'s. We do enjoy eating at a lot of the TS restaurants, just not in that price range. Bon Appetite!
So it lists an 8 oz filet at $39. So you never eat at Jiko's - filet - $49, Cali Grill - filet - $49, Narcoossee's - filet - $49, Citrico's - filet - $49, Yachtsman - filet - $49, or Shula's - filet - $53 (just for a few examples)?? Their prices are not out of line at all with any higher end steak house. Of course, if the filet sucks, then people will let everyone know.

So what TS restaurants that serve Filet Mignon at Disney are you eating at?

$ Wow $ those side dish prices! $21 side of asparagus. eech.

It has to be a typo.... No way people are going to pay 21 bucks for asparagus.... This is coming from someone that goes to Victoria and Alberts every year while at Disney... Crazy

Looking at those prices outside the vacation bubble - wow, sticker shock! I must be in a total different mindset while on vacation.

$17 for mac n' cheese
$21 for chowder?!?!?!

Can't wait for the Hangar's menu to come out.....

I am mixed on the prices. While most of the menu is priced pretty similar to any steakhouse you would go to, there are some items that stick out as being just plainly overpriced. The menu isn't that special, so reviews will have to be through the roof for us to want to try it. I'm more interested in what STK and Morimotos has to offer...
I can't be the only person who's ever been to a steakhouse before, right? I'm 99% sure that those sides are to be shared among a table of 2-4, not consumed by a single individual.

I get the cute little subsection names - but referring to seafood as "Fish or Cut Bait" is kind of unappetizing.
It's not referring to the seafood as "Fish or Cut Bait" as in "Fish, or 'Cut Bait'". Like they're not calling the food "cut bait." "Fish or cut bait" is an expression akin to " or get off the pot." It means "get on with it."

These prices are absolutely outrageous. Very few people will be able to afford that restaurant. I don't know why Disney has become so interested in catering to the ultra rich. I thought this was going to be a regular restaurant not some sort of super expensive place.

Actually we've eaten steak at Le Cellier before (not that impressed), but our tastes run more to the following (our ADR's for the upcoming trip): Sanaa, Olivia's, Biergarten, Hollywood Brown Derby, Kona Cafe, Raglan Road and Boma. We try to visit restaurants that are somewhat different from those near where we live. We can get our fill of Steaks, Mexican, Chinese, Pizza (etc.) at home.

It appears on the wdwmagic post as:

Fish or Cut Bait
Coriander Seared Tuna $32
Broiled Atlantic Swordfish $31
Cedar Planked Salmon $29
Wild Baja Shrimp de Jonghe $48
Broiled Canaveral ‘Bouy Line’ Tripletail $34
Hoisin Glazed Florida Wahoo $42

I've never heard that expression - I can't be the only one.

Yes. You can't afford it and I can't afford it so it's absolutely outrageous. Let's everyone get outraged.

Very few people will be able to afford that restaurant.
Very few people can afford a week at the Grand Floridian. Very few people can afford a night in the Bora Bora bungalows. Very few people can afford a golf membership at Augusta National. Very few people can afford to fly a family of four first class.

"He has what I don't have so he's dumb and I hate him."

I don't know why Disney has become so interested in catering to the ultra rich.
I bet they're all Republicans, too, amiritie!?!?!?!?one!11!?

I thought this was going to be a regular restaurant not some sort of super expensive place.
You thought wrong.

Hmm, so you're complaining about a steak and seafood house (the 2 most expensive entrees), but you don't eat at them while there?!?!? Le Cellier must have had an off day, because we have eaten the filet there several times, and it has always been melt in your mouth awesome. Not trying to bash, but why complain about a restaurant that you won't be eating at anyway? Why waste your time?

Fish or cut bait is a common English language colloquial expression, dating back to the 19th-century United States, that advises for teamwork. The use of this expression has expanded over time, sometimes including the ideas of swift decision-making (to act or not to act), and cautions against procrastination and/or indecisiveness.

Thanks - learned something new today.

You have clearly never been to dinner with me after 8 hours of yard work or mountain biking.;)
I just pictured the Yoda puppet from Empire chowing down on tray after tray of asparagus, garlic butter flying all over the place.

It has always been expected to be a high-end signature dining location.

I have eaten at some of the most expensive places in this country..... I was only saying 21 bucks for asparagus seems a little high ;)
