Some are going to be more recent than others, but what are your first memories of Disney.....?
It's embarrassing now but I don't think I opened my eyes (my parents forced me to ride) during HM until I was 13 or 14!My first clear memory was being scared to death while getting dragged onto the Haunted Mansion when I was 6 or 7 years old (14 now).

Took my 5 yr old on it. He wanted to ride it but after he said he doesn't want to ride it again until he is bigger. He will be 6 next time we go and he says he wants to ride it again but we will se if he actually doesI always went on it but was deathly (hehe) afraid. And I didn't open my eyes until I was 22! Now it's one of my absolute favorites.
That makes me sad too (though I understand why with the accidents). Riding in the front of the monorail was not my first Disney memory but it was one of the best!!Riding at the front of the monorail with the driver to the Magic Kingdom!
I am lucky enough to say I have ridden in the front because sadly they no longer allow it
I remember being 8 and spending 50 minutes in the line for space mountain.when we got to the point of getting on; all I could remember was the riders screams and how dark it was.needless to say I chickened out. Luckily we went back at 10 years old, and I was able to ride it. Now I have to convince my 10 year old who wouldn't even get in line when he was 8 in 2012. 38 days to go and I scheduled him a fastpass +,so we will see how this plays out
Riding btmrr during night parade running through over and over getting choice of front or back about 8 times and if no one was in line we did not even have to get off to ride again
