Coronado, especially the upgraded room, was a very nice resort. I stayed in the rooms just outside the East entrance of the pool. It could not of been better.

If you're only going to splurge on a Deluxe once, I think I'd have to go with the Polynesian. It has a special combination of positives, like views of the castle from around the resort, the monorail, a classic disney vibe, you can walk to the TTC and to the GF, there are boats to rent, the luau, a gorgeous lobby, etc. I love the rooms too.

Poly's theming is one of the best, no question but as I mentioned earlier, somtehing about the contemporary draws me in. I remember my first trip to WDW, and going on the monorail through the contemporary. At that point, I knew thta I had to stay there at some point in my life :)

It's iconic. Besides being one of the original resorts its design is unlike anything else most have seen. As a kid that's one of the resorts I've wanted to stay at the most. One day I'll make it happen.

If you can't decide, split the trip between a couple resorts based on which parks you'll be visiting during that time, and save time going from resort to park and back. They make the move pretty easy to do.
