final payment made!

i just made my final payment! i am so flippin happy. :sohappy:

now all we have to do is decide if we are driving down and taking train back or taking the train round trip.

just thought i would share with other disney obsessed folk!

you know the funny part of this.. i worried so much about getting the payment done. and now i sort of feel a big let down, i just don't have anything to worry about now, all i have to do is sit around and wait for the day to come when we leave. which isn't til 26 april.

does anyone ever get that feeling once they have made the final payment?

Congrats to you all! I still have a few payments to make, but I'm making progress. :)

I don't imagine I'll feel let down since Disney is paid, I'll still have other things to pay off (Discovery Cove, getting my car new tires and buying new glasses) before I hit the road. Ah well, the little things, huh? :lol:

We paid our last payment last week as well. I am so excited about going. Now, I feel like I got to start planning what to take with us. We just got new tires on our car and a recent oil change. We may try and take our car to make sure nothing is wrong. Last trip, we broke down on our way there and it put a bit of a damper on the trip. We are praying it won't happen this time!

We can't wait!!! WDW.... Here we come!!!!

I didn't feel that when making the final payment, but felt a little bit of that sensation after making our ADR's back in October for our April trip. I started planning this gig back last April or May, booked the room, then changed it to a package once the ticket and DDP prices came out. Then tweaked it a little more here and there as needed. Then I was looking foward to the 180 day mark to make my ADR's, which I did, right on time. Then, there was that feeling of having planned pretty much all there is to plan and having nothing left to do but endure a long, cold winter and wait for April to roll around. Well, there was also the carraige ride at POR that I booked last week, but that is so minor it doesn't really count.

But if you are feeling bummed that you have done the last thing there is to do until vacation time, it may cheer you up to know that there is something you should be getting in the mail now that you have paid the balance. I'm not sure exactly what all you will get as opposed to what you will get when you checked in, as I'm still waiting for mine to arrive. :lol:

we are arriving on the 27th april and staying at the all star sports. originally the movies, but once the free upgraded tickets were announced, and i called, they said there were no more rooms there for that special. so i had to change hotels.

can i say it again, i can not wait. i am more excited about it than my son and hubby.

hubby actually thinks that i am obsessed! huh? me obsessed. lol

I just got the tax return deposited into my checking account yesterday lol, but now I have to pay off the Visa bill in full for our April vaca. We'll be there from the 12th to the 20th!!!

Just made the final payment last week - checking in the 17th of April (or early morning on the 18th). As for a letdown, I actually am feeling the opposite...now that things are pretty much all paid for (airfare, hotel, food), I'm finally getting the feeling that the trip is really happening. Before, there was always this thought that maybe something would happen and the trip wouldn't happen...and now its a done deal. Woot!

Way to go! We're a little behind, but we have until July to pay it off. I promised myself that I would pay for the whole trip with OT money. Looks like we'll be able to make it.
