The trouble is the amount of space you’d have in the show building, not enough space. The current ride literally utilizes most of the same track & show rooms as the original, minus the opening scene & film finale (that’s the current queue space & ImageWorks: What-If? Labs space). The show rooms utilize the same space just some is covered in black curtain and the other half, is all the dumb doors/tables/charts, slot machine, and upside down house on the ceiling. Most of the track is simply underneath the current flooring (you can even stomp on those sections and feel it right there). It’d honestly be much cheaper restoring it back. They’ve got all the audio, scenes, reference materials etc. in their archives. So I’d say that’s the best solution. And if they need to spend a little extra to fix the turntable, so be it. Proven popular classic, sells tons of merch, easy to market, bring both Dreamfinder & Figment back out for meet n greets (more guest interactivity) and easy to then go and make a show or make a film off it too. Instantly classic characters & concept.I say make the ride trackless, that way you can replicate the turntable without actually having to build a complicated turntable system.
