It'd be justifiable to keep this thing open if it was actually a true people eater, but 90% of the time its a walk on scenario. Just close this monstrosity already. Drop a talking figment AA in the gift shop area and keep the interactive area open and call it a day..

I don't think I have ever waited for the ride long enough to have noticed anything in the queue. If I go on it, it's basically a straight walk-on every time. I'll have to take my time some day and look around!

I don't hold it against Eric Idle for mis-remembering, but some of the things he wrote to fans around that exchange were just not...great. While the eventual adjective he used for Figment ended up becoming a ridiculously funny tweet, it soured my entire perception of him. A comedian without a sense of humor.

He was really rude to quite a few people during that exchange and personally insulted them. One off the top of my head was him addressing a tweet "For extremely stupid people:"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there seems to be a new Imagination music loop. It stretches from outside the rear bathrooms all the way to where the Butterfly Garden and Winnie the Pooh character sighting area are. It's a weird techno sounding mix of One Little Spark and Magic Journeys, and it isn't the one that plays in the bathroom. It also isn't the JIYI loop. Weird.

I won't take it as a sign that they are going to announce Imagination 4 right now, but it is a good sign that they are at least thinking about the classic Imagination.

No! The bathrooms are still in tact. The new EPCOT entrance loop was just gone and the JIYI loop was back... So odd.

It's a story with multiple tweets, reactions etc...the best breakdown can be found here.
The shortened version is he referred to some fans asking him questions about JIIwF as "morons" and called Figment an "animated little f***er." He's since deleted some of those tweets...I wonder if Disney PR reached out to him because it caused quite a stir, but who knows.
A short time later when everyone was talking about them, Eric Idle joked about buying one of the Figment popcorn buckets to resell for a million dollars.
