Figment Merchandise

We spent yesterday at DL/DCA for my birthday. My daughter (19 years old) had to spend some time on her own as my DH and I attended a wine seminar as part of the F&W festival. She went through the Art of Disney store in DCA and saw the Figment astronaut porcelain figure and told me about it. There wasn't a price on it, so we just "window-shopped" (and wished).

I've been a huge Figment fan since 1983 and our first visit. As it was my birthday and I had a gift card (we are AP holders), I finally decided to find out the price rather than getting home and regretting not asking. My husband still had his gift card from April, so he offered to put it with mine to get Figment!

From reading some other posts, it sounds like this may be one of the last ones that is still available for first time purchasers! We are so glad to have him home with us!

We get a Figment keychain each year during our visit - they seem to last about 6-9 months before they break or the paint wears off. It seems like a viable reason to need to take another trip to WDW to get a new one! So we are looking forward to our visit this Christmas (and hoping to maybe even get in an earlier trip to the WDW F&W Festival this fall).

Has there been any sign of a new LE Figment plush after the 4th of July/All-American one?

And on that note...Do they still have the AA one? I need one...and I will beable to finally get one in the park in, oh, 6 days.:D

Finally won't have to Troll eBay...:zipit:

Sine this got bumped, I want to show off the framed version of my Figment drawing. Bought the drawing on my birthday with my free birthday gift card and went to Micheal's craft store and found a cool frame (40% off) and a perfect purple mat.

(The color looks a smidge weird because I took the shot on my wall with my desk lamp on.)

I LOVE it! It's right next to my desk and I'm always looking at it. Just such a great purchase - and even greater since it was Disney's birthday gift to me. :D

I go to thrift stores a lot because I sell junk on eBay, and everytime I come across a Figment doll I can't stand to just let him stay there. They don't really sell well on eBay, but the thought of leaving him there at the thrift store all alone makes me wanna cry!!

So I ended up with two of these older Figment plushes...I don't want them both. I'm gonna keep the one with the original tag, but if anyone wants the other one, you can have it for free. I'll be happy to ship it to you while I'm out shipping my eBay merchandise. Just send me a message and let me know. It's the one on the right, I would keep him but I just don't have the room.

I don't have anything new, other than a GIANT figment beach towel , but I haven't been back to Disney in almost a year. Maybe this spring.

I think you mentioned earlier in the thread that you have the giant (4' or so) Figment plush. If so, is he pretty nice quality?

Yes, he's gorgeous! (Actually, our daughter has him now - she's saving him for her own daughter!) :)

Good to know. I'm presently trying to acquire one, and want to make sure it's worth the effort and cost. (If it's even possible to get!)

Thanks!

Did anyone else see that very, very tacky (but awesome!) Figment sweatshirt that was on eBay about 2 weeks ago? It looked straight out of the '80s. I forgot to save the photos, and now it seems to be gone off eBay already. :brick: It was white with blue sleeves, I think -- could have been lavender, don't remember for certain -- and had Figment on the front. High-necked, long-sleeved, definitely a women's shirt.

I tried Googling around for it and didn't see anything remotely like it. Did anyone by chance save those photos?

PM'ed you about the plush!

Well, I only have the 7" Figment currently sold on the Disney website.
I really want the Skunk Figment doll and the Pook-A-Looz (I wasted my money on Pokemon Dolls! :( ).
