Fighting At Disney World

I've been witness to many heated verbal altercations at the parks because it wouldn't be a family trip to WDW without my wife getting into it with someone.

Nope, never seen any physical altercations at the parks, and I'm glad I haven't. Worst thing I saw was a woman at a shop in Adventureland who obviously graduated from the Kate Gosselin School of Being A Jerk To Your Husband.

Years ago, I was in Mickey's Toonotwn Fair with parents, brother, aunt, cousins, etc. My mom was standing in line to pay for a photo. Now, she had just broken her little toe before we went on vaca. A man pushing a stroller nearby ran over my mom's toes (broken toe) and continued on without even saying "excuse me" and my mom was obviously in pain. Now she didn't say anything (not her style) but I did. I asked him if he could watch where he was driving his stroller since he just ran over my mom's foot and said that my momther's foot shouldn't have been there. Well, I started at him and my dad joined in once he knew what was going on. There were just words between us ad it never went further, but I will never forget that moment. Can you believe some people?

I have seen 2 that I recall. The first was a husband and wife who got into an argument waiting for the bus at Epcot. They carried the fight onto the bus and were asked to leave. It was really loud. The next day I saw the husband at MK going on rides without his wife.

The other was 2 young kids who were punching each other at Downtown Disney.

Does Pleasure Island count as a "park"? There are plenty of incidents there, probably due in large part to alcoholic beverage consumption and the nature of the environment.

Also, Universal CityWalk is a known hotspot for local gang-related issues.

At pecos bill, Me and my family got in an arguement with another family over a table... which MY food touched first. Then, the other family refused to leave so we all ate together. They later got intimidated and left. :D

Plenty, Ive had to calm things down often using all my yeras of negotiating skills learned in the military. but then my wife is quite aggressive, I blame the hint of ginger in her hair.

3 weeks ago @ EPCOT... A British guest asked for if a bunch of ppl could move so her daugher could watch Illuminations for the first time. We were in front of Italy. Another guest turned around and said to the British mom, "You are in America, if you don't back off, I am going to punch you in the face." The British mom was so stunned she couldn't even respond. VERY AWKWARD...

You are so rude.....:fork:. You dont know if she has a disease or not. She probably can't help it either. I see a person trying to enjoy a day at WDW with an Ice Cream. Rude......

Ive never seen a fight break out.

I tend to agree. She may very well have a glandular problem and is splurging a little on her vacation. Give her a break. :(

She could very well be a member of this forum or a friend of a member.

I resemble that remark!

Just joking...my husband and I are blessed with common sense.

No offense to anyone here but if you have a problem that makes you keep on weight like that then perhaps an ice cream bar isn't your best choice.

many verbal fights only two physical. my fav. verbal is how a wife was trying to convince her husband that pirates of the carribean was at magic kingdom, in adverntureland, not mexico at epcot. but over all some got pretty bad. i especially dislike when it involves cussing, fighting in front of kids. fighting is not ok verbal ( when it goes out of line) and physical
