Fighting At Disney World

My sister and her hubby fight a lot lol. Screaming at each other down Main Street. Then he threatens to get a flight home that day, and we say "Ok, bye." (She's going to be mad when she sees this lol)

And last Nov, on my bday, I got in a bit of a fight with my moronic cousin. He's one of those people who thinks he's always right, and if you don't agree he will try to explain his opinion over and over till you agree. He kept telling me that my fave from the AIE was a bad choice and I only liked him cause he was 'cute'. After 20 minutes of ignoring him I turned around and told him that if he tried to change my opinion again I's turn his face in to a pizza.

Only noticed stressed, highly strung (and very pushy) parents. Only had a mild misunderstanding but a quick (quiet) word sorts it out. For the 'happiest place on earth' it really aint that happy at times.

Now THAT is truely sad... so many comments about foreign tourists being rude, and the rude one in THIS story was the heartless American Adult.

Note to self (and everyone) ASK is not the same as DEMAND.... it's a request, not an order. Had this occured to me? I would have taken MY so called "spot", as well as my wife's, and happily given it to that little girl and her Mother.

I guess it's just me. I'm still stupid enough to always offer a seat on a crowded bus to a Mother with a child - then stand, with a smile on my face. Sue me - I'm old, and I listened to my Father when he explained Civil Behavior.

Amen brother!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Paris this past February. We took a day trip out to Disneyland Paris and we almost saw a fight on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. We were sitting in the back row of the boat. The boat had just pulled out of the loading station. There were some guys up in the front that were probably about 20 and they were with a group of girls their age. The guys reached down into the water and started splashing the girls. Well, in the middle rows of the boat was a family. The wife got wet when they splashed so she said something to them. The guys up front splashed the girls again and the wife got wet again. This time, the wife splashed back (that helped) so the guys splashed back at her. Her husband stood up in the boat and grabbed at the guys in the front. The guys up front stood up and turned around and I seriously thought it was about to go down on the boat in the middle of PotC. No punches were thrown thankfully. They just yelled a bit and then sat down. I was half expecting there to be a fight after we got off the attraction but there wasn't. Interesting experience though.

This is the trashiest thread I think I have ever seen on this site. While I understand some people finding this entertaining (and i do not disavow anyone of their preferences,) just reading this thread makes me feel dirty and in need of a bath. Sorry, had to say it. I understand some of you disagree, just wanted to give my view.

Plenty, Ive had to calm things down often using all my yeras of negotiating skills learned in the military. but then my wife is quite aggressive, I blame the hint of ginger in her hair.

As a red-head I'm offended. Could you be implying we have bad tempers?:animwink:

Not like a real fight, but still was a lot of fun...

My and my 2 cousins were sitting at the cafeteria thingy in norway (we spend most of our time in Epcot there because it's almost like back in Denmark, and we can speak Danish with the employees there), and just chilling, having a coke and so on.. well, naturaly a group of 30 brazilians came by and sat down right next to us, taking up basicaly every table except ours.. We all look very scandinavian, with my 2 cousins being naturaly blond so we attract *a lot* of attention from the brazilian girls, and after 2-3 minutes they were swarming around us taking pictures with us and so on...

The few boys who were there (5-10 all in all) started teasing us (understandably, i would have done the same, i think) and were getting on our nerves.. At the point where we only had 2 choices (leave/confront) we decided to ask them if they wanted to arm-wrestle (not my idea, but especially my older cousin is very physical), and they were fine with it.. We had a lot of fun, and they turned out to be decent people most of them..

Just a little sunshine story i guess? :p

Isn't so much of a fight as it was mayhem. But a few years back, I was leaving DHS after Fntasmic and for some reason, only two turnstiles are open at the exit of the park. It became mayhem. People were being trampled and thrown out of the way and people got barbaric for all of 10 minutes, and than it was like as if nothing ever happened. It was definitely:lol: crazy

Anywho, I almost got into it with a Bus Driver once. We left PI (oh I wish it was still there) a little early at got to the bus about an hour before closing time. Well a few families(one with a mentally challenged person) and us waited...and waited...and waited...after waiting over a half hour on this bus, not going anywhere I ask the bus driver what was up, and she said she was told to wait. I said are you planning on waiting till the bars all let out and then leave, because that could be another half hour! She just shrugged, so then I asked to speak with a manager on the walkie or in the lot, and she got out and got someone...10 mins later she gets on the Bus stares me down, and says "We are leaving now..happy?" Yes was all I could say!

Whats up with the editing? Seriously?

It was about 45 minutes before the afternoon parade in Magic Kingdom and our 4 year old granddaughter feel asleep in the stroller. We stopped on the edge of the sidewalk outside the Candy Store next to two ladies and decided to wait there for the parade. It was a great spot for viewing. We started chatting with the ladies - a mother and 20 something daughter and they were both on scooters. When our granddaughter woke up they chatted and had some fun with her as well. It was a couple minutes before the parade was to start and the crowds had gathered on the sidewalk. We noticed on our other side two other women came from behind and sat right on the curb in front of us. Before we could react the scooter ladies went into action, asking the women to move down so our 4 year old could see the parade. The women ignored them and when asked again they replied very rudely that they would not. The next thing we know the scooter daughter jumped off her scooter somehow (she had a leg ailment) and got right up in the woman's face and started arguing. With that a couple CM's came over and my immediate thought was we were all going to get tossed out and banned forever, even though we were innocent. The CM's diffused the situation by getting the women to get up off the curb and then they finally left, and put the scooter ladies back on their rides. The funniest thing that I remember was the CM that came over to settle the situation was about 70 years old, and weighed about 85 pounds - not exactly a bouncer type. Although I'm sure security was plain clothesed near by. Fortunately the parade went on without incident.:sohappy:

I have never seen any physical fight in DisneyWorld. Now there might have been some physical fights when I was in DisneyWorld, but if there were I did not see them. I have seen some people get in some verbal stuff. Like some guest getting mad at cast members and soem guest getting mad at eachother at times.

I remember one time me and some other people got falsly accused of cutting in line. I was wearing one of my cute photo shirts. I think it was either the one of Minnie kissing me or me kissing Minnie. Anyways when I was right outside the Magic Kingdom in line to get in these people really liked my shirt and starting telling me that my shirt was cute. Anyways a cast member opened up another line so 2 lines got joined together (the line I was in was one of the 2 lines) together into one line. So me and the people who liked my shirt had someone behind us saying this "Do you people know that there is a line" and a woman in the group of people that liked my shirt said something like "The 2 lines got joined together when they opened a new line". Then after that I remember someone saying something like "I guess people like to cut in line". Also when I was either putting my ticket in or about to put my ticket in I remember someone said something like "These people are just cutting in line". I was mad at being falsly accused of cutting in line
