The "full" loop!
Looks like the kareoke version or whatever...

It's a poorly edited mix of a live recording mixed with source audio I posted on another Disney music website. Keywords: I posted. You can distinctly hear the source audio from a promo video, parts of the rehearsal CD, and a live recording I did.

Yes, almost identical of a live recording that i found, the last unit part is very long...
well, for now is the best one from a "direct" source.

so no new floats planned for the future, isn't it?

Considering it took years of begging from WDI-CE to get this built in the first place, it's unlikely TDO will want to spring for new floats any time soon. I fully expect the parade to be cut back within the next year or two, because that's just how they roll.

I highly doubt those words are official in any way. More like a, based on how TDO has operated in the past, it wouldn't be surprising if FOF was cut back in the future, which is a fair assumption to make. I'm just hopeful that TDO can scrounge up enough artistic integrity to leave the parade intact for years to come.

Did you see what they did to the last daytime parade? And how they let a nighttime parade rot for how long until it was too far gone to salvage? That's why people don't trust MK.

I happened to love that parade, thought it ended too soon. Should have ended March 8th, not new years week. Spectromagic going to rot was a bad thing I'll admit, but we have MSEP, and now it looks like DL doesn't need it for the 60th.

I know there's been bashing for MK on here for many years. It makes me a little sad that it's still going on even with Let it go and the dragon firing 5 times In FOF.

I just wish people on here would love MK as much as I do!

DL doesn't "need" MSEP because they're apparently going to end up with a fresh new night parade of their own soon enough. It's more that MK is now stuck with MSEP and likely will be until it literally falls apart (and who knows what they'll do when that happens). Anyone who thinks MK's archaic version of MSEP is still acceptable in this day and age (let alone in the poor condition it's been in for a long time now) needs to take a good long look at Tokyo's Dreamlights and grow some standards and perspective. I don't adore MSEP as much as some others do. Particularly the music I find bleh, and my mom likes it even less. But we were both utterly blown away by Tokyo's amazing updated version. THAT is how you do a night parade and juggle both state of the art tech but continuing to be nostalgic and faithful. Spectromagic will always be our personal favorite (unless they rebuild it in an amazing way), but Dreamlights really put into perspective how behind the rest of the stateside Disney parks are parade-wise.

Nothing would make me happier parade wise than to see a rebuild and upgrade of Spectromagic in the same vein that Dreamlights updated MSEP (hell even some hand me downs of Tokyo's floats would be preferable to what MK has now), but that just isn't likely to happen anytime soon unless Disney's leadership and especially their Orlando team start to care about WDW again (and odds of that happening are fading by the second with Rasulo being the likely successor to Iger).

As for FoF, give it some time before you jump to conclusions about it being in good condition. With WDW management it probably won't take long before it's condition begins to deteriorate. It's a great parade in spite of all the cutbacks that were made to it (remember that numerous floats were cut and the budget overall received major mutilation so it's a wonder it turned out as well as it did).

From what I've been told, parades are generally conceived with a large amount of floats, units, performers, etc., with the foresight that several will be cut. That way, even with cutbacks, there's still a good amount of material to work with. Steve mentioned in an interview after the parade's debut that an Alice in Wonderland unit was a part of the original plans. It's a shame, AIW always provides a whimsical atmosphere to a parade, and I still think FOF could use just one more unit.
