Festival of Fantasy Parade coming to Magic Kingdom in 2014

Speaking of Mansion, at age 8, I was more freaked out at the pre show than the ride!

Haha, isn't that the point though? It sort of spooks you in the beginning until the moment of truth in the graveyard - "grim grinning ghosts come out to socialize." And you say "Aha! They are PLAYFUL ghosts, good then."

We arrive for our (Canadian) Spring Break later this week, and fly out on the morning of...you guessed it, March 9th. :-(

That's no fun! Well, from one Canadian to another, enjoy your trip!! We're going at the end of March and I'm pumped for this.

I am shocked there will only be one performance! are they crazy? The parade route is going to be insanely packed! And with no media preview, cm preview, ap preview, dapper day, it being a Sunday...
I wouldn't miss it for the world however lol and will def be grabbing my spot hours in advance

I usually see it from where it opens and then move to a place near the end... this time i will go near Splash and after the parade ends there go to Main Street and watch it again

Once again, I'm sure there'll be a few more cast members and locals at the first performance but honestly nothing anymore that you wouldn't see during a busy holiday parade crowd at the most.

March 9th has been confirmed as the opening date. Theres a new video featuring some of the choreography. So exciting!

Will the opening fanfare we heard from the Fashion Show include a narrator? Usually that is the case except for Soundsational which does not have a opening narrator.

i imagine the part just after the fanfare would be played with narration, makes sense as it's dampened slightly

Actually, there are star strobes all over those floats....just like DL's Parade of Dreams had them all over.

If you look at some high res pics of the floats out for the fashion show...they ALL clearly have star strobes imbedded all over them. They look like little glass balls that show up on the surface of the floats, in random places.

So whether night performances are planned or not, strobes are definitely on the floats.

Interesting.. But what's the purpose of them? There won't be show stops like POD and you won't see it much during the day..
