Festival of Fantasy Parade coming to Magic Kingdom in 2014

Assuming the 9th is the soft opening (which is what I've been hearing from friends in the cast for awhile now), it will be quite the day in MK. It's Dapper Day, which means a lot of the more "enthusiastic" fans (and the lifestylers) will already be in the park to begin with. Dapper Day also attracts a lot of CM's (including this one!). It's shaping up to be a VERY busy day in the Magic Kingdom.

According to DIS, Today is Dapper Day. Saw it on Twitter. Is the Spring Trolley Show starting the 9th as well? It started in early March last year. I doubt we'll hear about it on the Parks Blog. I'm hoping the calendars will update this week!

This weekend is Disneyland's Dapper Day. The date of the spring WDW event is March 9.

OMG, the breathlessness over an almost completely inaudible 12 second clip is amazing. Guys, in a couple weeks you'll be able to hear the whole soundtrack...only you'll actually be able to hear it. It's almost as if there hasn't been a new parade in 13 years!

I think he means on cd? they did with wishes and use to with spectro and msep, would be cool if they did with festival but yeah usually the daytime stuff doesnt get its own cd.

Maybe if the demand is big enough it might. WDW and DL are way over due for another entertainment cd.

Until then perhaps FOF will go the way of soundsational... Which happened shortly after it's debut if I remember correctly.

WDW has a better track record of releasing show music than DL.

Hopefully they will do something like that "Magic in the Streets: Parade Memories" that they did back in 2001 when all those new parades opened for the 100 Years of Magic celebration. Plus, Spectro, Event Party Music, the various stage shows and fireworks...not everything, but it's something!
DL releases nothing.

Steve Davsion, and Randy Thornton over at Walt Disney Records, will tell you that if the proper contracts are in place, then it's up to the individual resort's merchandising departments if they want to release the music.

I think if FOF does get released there would be a huge uproar with DL fans as they have been begging for World of Color and Soundsational to be released and it has yet to happen. It would have to be entertainment cd release for both WDW and DL like the last official album. There sure is enough audio they can use! Should be a box set!

Well we pretty much have a idea of the soft opening date but what we don't know is times? Is it safe to assume the one performance at 3pm remains?

Going off the subject of music..

Is Disney going to confirm the parade times? In my opinion MSEP should be cut from the schedule for a week or two and allow guests the extra chance to see Festival Of Fantasy instead of having only one performance!
