I personally am excited about these changes.
This has been a nightmare I thought, killing the magic if you will.
Prescreening deluxe resort and TTC guests will make the adeventure to the MK the trip to our imagainations uninterrupted without the pain of a reality inducing security check.

Maybe I missed, but is there a thread or mention somewhere of what some of the other property wide changes are coming, in relation to the security and transportation revamp?
The permit thread has permits issued for all 4 parks entry areas. As per usual the permits are vague but we have been told it's for security upgrades by several different insiders. There's also a few permits for TTC.

IIRC, MK & TTC will be # 1 on the list to be secured, followed by Epcot, then AK, and around early 2018, DHS. Overall, Early 2017 is competion of MK.
I've been to all 4 in the last month and MK is the only one with work being actively done. I haven't even seen any concrete that's been cut in preparation. It's kinda strange really.

Pretty amazing but looking forward to the day when all the necessary infrastructure projects are complete and they can concentrate even more on the parks themselves.

Any idea when the work at MK should be done? Hoping there'll be less of a cattle herd to get into MK for our trip in January
At the rate they are going this particular area will be open to guests by the first week of December. We have been told however that this is only one part of a larger project so who knows what's going behind walls next.
I checked my sources and don't have anything up to date. I'll check again soon and I may end up over there tonight so I'll take some photos if I do.

Great, thank you! I know it hasn't been that long since an update (4-5 days) but this project seemed to be moving at a really quick pace so I was curious

By the looks of things this might be open by next weekend. They are not taking their time what so ever.
