Everybody is an armchair imagineer these days.
Unless Disney were to adopt my idea and have a large portion of the ride system underground, then this project is better off canceled or relocated.
I hope at the least EPCOT gets the finished SSE descent.
What exactly is the finished descent on SSE? I have heard about this on several occasions, but no one seems to know what it is (or was supposed to be)...
At the end of the ride when you are presented with your tomorrow, if you aren't paying attention to the screens you will notice that all around you is exposed chicken wire. The chicken wire is covered with spray painted triangles. It's by far the worst thing I have ever seen at Disney World.
Oh, ok. So what is supposed to be there?
Walter Cronkite
I was shocked when I first saw the chicken wire...
It isn't the narrator that I have an issue with, its the script.
What exactly is the finished descent on SSE? I have heard about this on several occasions, but no one seems to know what it is (or was supposed to be)...
The original plan was to have a show spaceship built around these, so as you rotated you saw you had just emerged from a large spaceship, floated through space, skimmed the moon, gone past the 2 satellites and into a space station.
To be honest I'm down for just more of the old characters coming out for greetings. That would be the most feasable thing and it wouldn't really cost Disney much money at all!
Rewinds one page...
My D23 predictions are new concept art for FLE, the GF DVC, and a Monsters Inc coaster announcement for the near future.
I figure the movies coming out in two years and DCA is getting Carsland shortly after Cars 2, so it'd make sense to give DHS a ride around Monsters 2 (well technically a prequel :shrug
I also think we'll get new plans for DTD since HW has apprently been put on hold. Will these plans be put on hold as well? Only time will tell :brick:
