Phesant

For the last few years we have been frying a turkey (as well as roasting one) at Thanksgiving.

It has become a tradition for the guys to gather around the deep fryer outside and fry things. We had phesant in the freezer. Cut them up, breaded them, fried them, and the kids thought the were the best nuggets ever.

For the record, battered, deep fried orange sections - not so good.

Ok,so I've just finished in the kitchen and have done 50 battered sausages,50 black puddings,50 haggis, and 70 fish, half cod, half haddock.Got me thinking, what is your favourite battered food at WDW. Iam curious about the Doh bars at Cookes of Dublin, never had one but will try this year. There's a local lad here done onion rings in a buck fast batter, sold like hot cakes.Have you got a favourite?:)
The Doh bar is really good. It is a Snickers bar, battered and fried. The inside gets a lovely melty mess, and the outside is a crisp batter. I would highly recommend you try it!

Will go for the beer, been once and food was terrible, worst dining experience along with San Angel Inn!
You should give it another go. It must have been an off day, because Raglan Road is consistently good and has some fantastic food. The bread pudding is awesome.
