Favourite battered food?

Deep fried scallops are soooo good!! I love my seafood fried!!

My mom actually got me a little device to cut the onion just right to make blooming onions at home. Still haen't tried it yet simply out of fear for all those calories!!! Yikes!!

Has anyone ever tried deep fried Oreos or Twinkies? Those are delicious!!

We have fried Oreo's in Aruba at Smokey Joe's! So good!

I saw one for like $400.00 also... seemed to be the same exact thing.

I received mine as a gift. It probably came from Williams and Sonoma.

Lets Face it there are not to many things that do not taste good covered in batter and deep fried. Since moving down south I still have not been brave enough to try deep fried pickles.

Fried pickels are AWESOME!!! Give them a go sometime. They really are good! I've had both the pickel chips and pickel spears deep fried. They were both really good but I think I like the pickel chips better.

Yes. It's partially sliced, battered, then fried whole. Outback Steakhouse made them famous here in the US.

We have the Outback Steakhouse in the UK, well definitely in England! I used to go to my local one regularly but never had the bloomin onion, then someone told me about it and I was sold! Unfortunately my local Outback closed and became a Pizza Hut before I got the chance to try it!

Boston... that is about what we see for large sea scallops, can be had for cheaper if you take a walk down the pier on Fridays and buy right from a fishermans boat for cash.
