Favorite Table Service

Depends on what you want. But if it's outside the park here are my votes:

For buffet-Chef Mickey's-the upside food is good, characters our neat-downside, very loud with lots of children.

For Fancy dinner-We like the Yatchman house the food there was very good and very nice upscale atmosphere.

For one in between-We like Whispering Canyons it is not buffet food served at table, but no characters, and it can get very loud, but that is part of the playing and fun.

Ok here is one nobody will mention, but in my eyes is one of the better table service meals at WDW. The Yacht Club Galley at the Yacht Club resort. Even if your not staying on property but planning on going to Epcot its just a short walk from the world gateway entrance. Its nothing to write home about as far as atmosphere but the food was great. I had the prime rib and it was excellent (And I never order prime rib). The service was great and usually you don't need a ADR, which is a bonus. I would say its a no brainer if you happen to be on the food plan. I also enjoy the concourse steakhouse for lunch. Also a short walk from the Magic Kingdom!! Hope that helps.

We just returned on Saturday and had seven TS meals while we were there. Here is the breakdown along with our review of each:

Boma--> hands down the best meal of the trip. DH still longs for "just one more plate full of that pork...":slurp:

CRT Lunch--> Second favorite. Food was excellent, as was the service!

Crystal Palace--> Very good. Great character interaction. Restaurant was full, but did not seem crowded.

Chef Mickeys (dinner)-->very disappointing. Definitely did NOT live up to the hype. Character interaction was good, but the buffet was boring and not very clean.

Coral Reef--> Excellent. Our third time here and we have had the ups and downs of good and bad. This was probably the best meal we have ever had there!

1900 Park Fare Breakfast-->Excellent but felt rushed due to being the first table the characters greeted. We were always afraid of missing someone to go and make a plate!

Kona Cafe'--> Good, but not what I had expected. After hearing all of the rave reviews, I expected the best breakfast ever. It was very good, but nothing spectacular.

I am definitely recommending Boma and CRT to anyone who will listen, along with a word of caution about Chef Mickey's. We were originally scheduled to eat at Liberty Tree as well, but DD's nap forced us to cancel that at the last minute. Disappointing, but better than taking an overtired toddler to a dinner that she doesn't want to attend! (You are ALL welcome for that!)

We love Ohana and Kona at the Polynesian.. I really enjoy Wolfgang Puck at Downtown Disney as well... We also love Fulton's Crab House, but it's not on the Dining Plan..

I went to V&As once, but someone else paid and it was such a different experience that it's difficult to measure against other restaurants.

For resort restaurants you cannot go wrong at Narcoosee's, CaliGrill, Boma, Jiko, Artist Point; it just depends on your tastes. Boma (good, different) is a buffet so if you're wanting more full-service, try one of the others. Check out the menus, see what appeals. Have also done V&A (it's at that haute cuisine high level of fine dining experience) and really enjoyed it. FWIW.
