I people watch from the monorails. As the EP monorail makes the loop around I gaze down and watch guests moving through the park and cant wait to join them. As the resort monorail passes around you can watch guests walking on various pathways and on the outsides of the resorts.

Just thought of another of my favourites. Sitting outside the lounge on the second floor of the Poly lobby...between the lounge and Ohana. It's a cozy, exciting place to be.

I like the Poly in general. We've been sitting outside of Captain Cooks lately, enjoying the nice weather. Though, last week I almost got in trouble because some kids were chasing and harassing the ducks. Their parents were just watching them, silent.

Yes! Me too. I like to watch people at the resorts from the monorail. I imagine them going back to their room after a morning in the parks and the way that feels when you open the door to your beautiful room and put your feet up for a little while. I can feel what they must feel.

Tokyo Dining if you're seated by a window facing the lagoon. You get a great view of the water, the surrounding countries, and the main walkway below. Lots of great views from one location.

I love to stand/sit near the entrance to MK and watch the families come in. The moment you see a child (especially little girls) first lay eyes on the castle is just precious. :)

My absolute favorite spot is by a window upstairs at the Columbia Harbor House. I can also spend hours in the lobby of WL, particularly tucked away on one of the upper levels of the lobby--so cozy yet spacious. Another favorite in the early evening is out on the Boardwalk watching the sun set as the boardwalk comes alive. In Epcot, I love to score a spot on one of the benches by the fountain in France.

France is great, isn't it? I think it must be because of the atmosphere coupled with the turn in the path. You really make a grand entrance there as opposed to just coming across it accidentally.

I have to admit I haven't had the down time at WDW to people watch much, but it's probably the best place to do so. Next visit I want to build in a fair amount of time for that and for just looking around and exploring.

The place I enjoyed just hanging around most last time (while waiting to switch kids with my wife) was near the entrance to Expedition Everest. I loved that Tibetan area in AK. Beautiful, relaxing, and fun to watch Expedition Everest in action.
