Favorite Part of your Disney Trip

What is everyone's favorite part of their Disney World Vacation? It could be anything!!!

I think my favorite part of our Disney Vacations is the food! My family plans our trip around eating big meals. Each day we are there we have one big sit down dinner. Over the years we have found our favorite restaurants (Chef Mickey's, Sci-Fi Dine-In, Boma, O'hana) and have branched out and tried new ones. This time, it's Le Cellier, Boma, Chef Mickey's, Mama Melrose, and Cape May Cafe. So a few of our favorites and a couple new restaurants to try! I can't wait!!!

Oh, and of course of trip wouldn't be complete without eating dessert in France at their Patisserie.

What's your favorite part of your trip?

I think my favorite part of my Disney trip is that very first day at Magic Kingdom. I don't feel like I'm truly at Disney until I walk down Main Street and see the castle.

I would also have to agree that meals are a great part! We also do one big meal a day (dinner) and love to try new places every visit. We're planning on doing a character dinner one night for our next trip - lol - Nope, no kids - 2 adults (we'll be 28 and 29!!). We love the characters!

For me it would have to be the theme and atmosphere of the whole resort. The amount of detail WDW puts into some of the smallest things is amazing. This attention to detail makes the different themes throughout the park untouchable by any other, including Universial.

I enjoy planning the trip, almost as much as the trip itself! I think the absolute favorite is the look on my son's face when we finally get there. Next April's, I think will be the best, as it's a surprise trip. The kids won't find out until about 5 hours before we leave.

The 2 hour flight from up here in CT to MCO.Then after that it is going though the arches and then checking into the hotel and going to the room. Then enjoying every moment there.

It does not sink in until I stand at the beginning of Main Street, and look down at the Castle. I drive my family crazy, because as soon as I get into Orlando, I'm in a rush to get to the Magic Kingdom.

For me, it's when we pass over the property line, that's when all the problems that were on the outside stay outside. They don't come in with me, and that makes sure I have the best time everytime, ( Which has always happened ). And will happen in 36 days. :sohappy: :sohappy:

I absolutely agree with you. The details that are put into the architecture and decoration of everything on Disney property is amazing. I love that I can walk into the same resort/ride/restaurant that I've been to a millions times, and see something new or something I have never noticed before. It's true, the entire resort is fantastic.

It's either actually being on the rides, or experiencing the night shows. Though I also just love walking around and just sort of taking everything in. Absorbing all the magic that chases all my problems away.

I can't wait until my next trip--I'm going without the fam' and taking my girlfriend and my buddy who's the biggest Disney fan of ALL TIME... and he's never been to WDW, so it'll be like watching a five year old meet Santa Claus who's house is made of candy and video games. :)

Having said that, the only thing I don't like is trying to find time off and get the money together to go. Planning, though fun, is kind of a chore too.

Stepping off the plane at MCO!

Probably this... especially if the flight was bumpy. :D I love it when it hits me that I'm actually on vacation in WDW! - it's a relief and a rush. It's either when I get off the plane or when I'm waiting in the check-in line at the hotel and the kiddie TV is playing Mickey and the Seal or the Donald/Chip & Dale nut butter cartoon.

I think each time I've had a different favorite little part. Last fall it was when I finally beat my brother's score on the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin; I don't beat him in direct competitions very often, so I try to enjoy it quietly when I can, lol.

Wow, that's extremely hard to pick my favorite thing at WDW. There are many things that factor: music, theming/atomosphere, rides, characters, "Disney Magic", etc. I just cannot pick. Just a lot of the little and some-what big things that make WDW my favorite place to visit.
